What Hamas did was wrong but that doesn't give Israel a carte blanche to do whatever they want. There is limits to what an acceptable response is.

Neither Hamas nor the current Israel government are interested in peace. So if one must go so should the other. If you take just the last twenty years what side has suffered the most by far. If you had neighbours who when they spot a gap in the fence with you. Rush in with machetes and machine guns and slaughter all what neighbours they hate on the other side whilst shouting "God is great".
They won't live in peace. And Israel don't want them there ready to jump the fence again and repeat the slaughter.
It's terrible all around but can you see any other lasting answer.

Why? Sure it was hamas that parachuted into a musical concert on isreali soil and proceeded to murder 300 civilians and kidnap whole families from the surrounding areas.

Thats what Russia did. By your logic then Ukraine should have been sanctioned for the actions of Russia invading Ukrainian territory.
Every Muslim country should have to take in their share of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. With the largest share to Iran.

They are air dropping leaflets on Gaza now telling residents to move south immediately. I guess they are going to level the north first, and then tell everyone to move north while they level the south. Madness.
Israel should be getting sanctioned for all of this. It's this double standard that makes the Russian sanctions ridiculous as they cost us but Israeli sanctions wouldn't.
At least it looks like Egypt are telling the truth in all of this. The aim is to push the Gaza population into Egypt. No surprise really, just what other countries are willing to help them do it.
That would only lead to even more hardline people occupying it, if that's possible.

Well before this attack Netanyahu was using the palistines as a diversion, he now has all politicians behind him.
IF he facilitated or allowed the attack in any way he's some scut. But he wouldn't be the first country's leader to do it.
On any other day if a child throws a stone at that fence they'll get shot in the legs if their lucky. It's almost impossible to believe it was left pretty much unmanned on this occasion
I read that a significant proportion of what was supposed to be guarding that border was moved to the West Bank as there had bene incidents there. The border was largely defended by sensors and a fence, which was a bad idea. The drones took out the sensors and it's easy blow up a wall or fence.
How could they break through one of the most advanced borders in the world in 8 different places. Guarded with tanks Apache helicopters and everything else the mighty IDF have. You'd have to wonder

In fairness I reckon their is something in the conspiracy theory Netanyahu wanted hamas to make a break into Isreal to justify what he's at now but I don't think he planned on what took place and amount of isrealis that ended up killed
