Fast wireless charging isn't worth it, from my experience. With the Pixel Stand 2, it's still slower than plugging it in, and a fan starts up as well to keep it cool. You're best to use a wireless charger for slow charging overnight or on your desk during the day, and if you want a fast charge then just plug it in.
Annoyed at myself that I didn't pre-order sooner. Now the watch is out of stock. Annoying.

Looking on Amazon for a case for the 8 pro. Lots of non brand name cases. Not no branded ones. Spigen not available at the moment. Caseology are in stock, but they won't ship to my address in Ireland.
I might have to go for the official Google case until the more known brands become available.
I have bought Spigen Rugged Armour for at least a dozen phones over the years. Last year I had to order from Amazon Germany to get one for the P7Pro. Came within a few days, and the price was reasonable (under €20 delivered).

I know it won't be the fastest but as mentioned above considering it'll primarily be for overnight it should be fine, and I ike being able to charge the Pods there aswell in parallel (that was my freebie add on :) ). At half the price of the Stand 2 it's a better value proposition imho. I'll just plug in when I need speed.
Hey cancel your order, the pixel watch 2 uses a different charging standard that the watch 1 it has 4 pins that charge physically instead of wirelessly, unless you have the one! I got my pixel stand 2 off adverts heavily discounted make sure to check eBay and Facebook too!

I never use non-branded charging equipment. Despite what ever is in their advertising, you have know way of knowing what electrical components are actually being used or performances achieved.
If you are prepared to spend €800+ on a new phone, why risk damaging it to save a few quid on a cheap charger.
Pickup a Gen2 stand as @MarsyB suggested or wait until they are on sale (Black Friday if not earlier). They also work brilliantly with Google Assistant for added features.
Unbranded chargers are also a fire risk - plenty of warnings out there.
Bought 2 cases from Amazon.de. Caseology Nani pop (grey) and spigen liquid air(navy).

Just looking at the redemption website to claim the buds/watch from a third party purchase and it seems Vodafone have been removed from the participating retailers list.
The list now only shows Three, Harvey Norman and Virgin Media.
If this is the case I'm going to leave Vodafone. I can't believe they dragged their heels to the point the pre order free gift won't available.
It's odd as Vodafone were listed when I last checked on Thursday morning.

You have to be kidding me I've been waiting this whole time because I thought they would be cheaper for their 100 euro off if you swap. Even their internal document the rep showed me at the store said the gift would be available 12th-16th. This is so so poor

3 are doing the 8 for €706 plus €15 mandatory top up. Its a nice saving, if anyone gets one can you confirm if it is unlocked or not?

Google is more expensive but you get the gift immediately. With other resellers you need to claim at end of October and get gift some time in November.
My "Service Area" as DHL calls it is like 200km away. Going to be a long wait for me even when I do get the 'out for delivery' notification. Currently it has "Arrived at DHL Delivery Facility" which I'm guessing is the last step before being put on a van

Mine went from "Arrived in your region" at 9:44 to "Out for delivery with the courier" 10.26?? and just received a txt for delivery today (Signature required).
This maybe CET times I guess?
