I've had no issues buying a tigo from lamps4sale.ie (they shipped it from oversees).

Mostly wanted to try it on a panel that gets shaded by trees in the mornings and there is absolutely no difference in production.

Panel in question is part of a 3 panel string and is monitored by home assistant every few seconds so was able to compare it with previous similar days.

I'll sell you one for the same price I got it if you want 😁 they're great 😅

JK BMS, 200A, 2A active balancing, CAN, smart BMS, bluetooth, phone app, as new. Price €120 firm

This is an excellent BMS, I have two others in use myself, this one came to me as part of a deal and I have no use for it.

Will take it assuming this is the one that will talk to inverter directly. Ok to PM you?

Which model number is it, I would be interested if other sale doesn't go ahead.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,125 ✭✭✭✭unkel

Hi guys, the model number is JK-B2A20S20P-H-C

    200A

    2A balancing

    Peak current 350A

    Battery strings 8-20

The previous owner crimped ring terminals on all the balance leads. Neat job, better than my own handywork 😁

This model does not talk natively to inverters, only their very latest model does and that only started shipping a few weeks ago. You can get the comms module from here though:

    25% discount if you're a patreon

Or make your own if you're a bit handy with electronics. One of the forum regulars, recently turned moderator, has made one for me 😁

My JK BMS did come with the above bit of hardware, but I've already promised that to a friend of mine, I owe him more than a few favours!

Very surprised this isn't sold yet. It's as good as new (in some ways better as it already has nicely crimped terminals), €120. These are new €177 and you'd have to wait 2-3 weeks to get one.

Finally finished my DIY battery so have 2 Weco 4klt modules for sale if anyone is interested in expanding their battery without going the full DIY route.

    Wanted 5 * CALB 200Ah cell

Will consider ones that have poor capacity (as in around 120Ah)

Will consider buying more than 5 if you want to sell more than 5

The bidding war is only going one way. Not up 😂

NKON are selling brand new full capacity 305Ah cells for €60 + VAT. With warranty from a trusted seller

So per kWh that is the same price as €23 for a 200Ah CALB cell that in real life has about 120Ah capacity. Which second hand, with zero comeback is worth obviously a good bit less than that, and not even every single CALB cell can be guaranteed to even have 120Ah, roughly €15 - €20 would be a decent offer for a second hand CALB cell, unless the seller can show it has significantly more than 120Ah capacity...

And to add to that, if I were buying for the first time now, I sure would buy those €60 cells from NKON. But I'm already heavily invested in the CALBs and I don't mind having degraded / far less than full capacity cells, as I have many of them in parallel, so the capacity evens out

Wanted: 6KW bog standard string inverter, 2+MPPTs (non hybrid). In no rush so on the look out for a good deal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,125 ✭✭✭✭unkel

Made some hardware changes today which much better suit a 14S setup, so looking for 5 more CALB 200Ah cells still. It's fine if they don't pull anywhere near capacity, anything considered. Even as low as 120Ah

Will also take more of them if you want to sell more of them...

I have 9x Plugwise Circle plugs and 1x Plugwise Sense. The Circle plugs measure electricity consumption and can switch on/off remotely (also on schedule). The Sense measures temp/humidity. They are from 2012 and the company went bust a few years ago (current Plugwise company does not deal with these anymore), but software can still be downloaded from other places, mainly for Windows. There are also some open source projects to run it, for example HA integration. It runs on a proprietary ZigBee protocol. 13A max each.

I have slowly replaced mine with other zwave and zigbee plugs over the years, don't have any use for these and despite being old they still work.

Happy to rehome them in return for a bottle of red ;)
