Brilliant 🤣🤣🤣
Musk has admitted he's in contact directly with Vladimir Putin.
He most likely admires the thought of a white male dictator.
He sees himself above what the little people on the ground have to endure. Probably gets a perverse pleasure from it.
@pixelburp "Like Jordan Peterson, I wish Musk would fúck right off."
50% of Jordan Peterson is AI.
far more accurate
Few posters here showing their colours. As if we didn't already know.
You think it's funny when a president has to approach the global community hat in hand so that he can protect his people from being murdered, raped and its children stolen to be brainwashed? That's a joke that has you rolling around on the floor?
Meanwhile Mr Martin visited Ukraine today and got an award for absolutely nothing
Not sure zelensky ever had an Irishman begging in his office before
Ireland hosts almost 94,000 Ukrainian refugees. That's a little under half of what the UK is doing and our population is 14 times smaller. We're par or exceeding the likes of Germany per capita.
We have no military to speak of and are banned by our constitution to send direct military aid anyways. But we've still donated millions to the cause. Sent mine clearing instructors and non military aid in the form of ambulances and kit.
It could be argued that we're doing well beyond what could reasonably be asked of such a small country. And if Zelensky wants to hand out a medal to one of our representatives for that then why f**k not? What sort of miserable gowls would bemoan it?
According to the Statista numbers, Russia has the highest number of refugees (1.275m), more than Germany and Poland (a little less than 1m each).
Something very fishy about those numbers: I wonder about the source of the Russian ones. Does it inlcude those who were kidnapped or expelled?
We are not banned from sending direct military aid. There is nothing in our constitution about neutrality.
However we are giving significant aid to Ukraine as well taking a significant number of there population into our country. Rather than going head to head with people who are against military aid we train there troops in mine clearing which we are very good at. As well we are training them in combat medicine.
We do not have a significant military or have weapons development expertise so not much point in us going down that roi
It's probably counting the population of the occupied / annexed regions
Without wanting to derail the thread, I have to say that I'm very disappointed in what he has become. As a casual student of aeronautical and space engineering, I have been following his career from the very moment he went to Russia to buy up some old Russian engines shortly after Spacex was formed. While his drive and achievements with Falcon 1, Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy, the Dragon capsule, starlink and of course the soon-to-fly-again Starship and the Super Heavy Booster, not to forget the incredible Raptor closed-cycle engine, is to be lauded, he does undermine the work of his engineers and technicians with the absolute nonsense he comes out with. It's little wonder Gwen Shotwell has taken over at Boca Cica.
Some here have described his projects as "vanity projects", however Nasa and almost every western country and company that now look to space, beg to differ. Spacex' s Falcon rockets ( plus Dragon) are currently the only method for the US and European astronauts to get to Space, ( Boeing have yet to fly a crew in theirs), since the war in Ukraine. Plus, the Artemis Project, which is humanities return to the moon, is relying on Starship ( in development in Texas) to work. People forget that there are almost 24,000 people working for Musk and they're not all nutcases.
He's an important individual, but is beginning to believe his Messianic hype and is in serious danger of destroying decades worth of advancements in engineering for the good of humanity. If the Artemis program fails, or if the support for SpaceX's and NASAs endeavours evaporates, he only has himself to blame.
It is widely known that he has serious back pain issues over the last number of years and has been self medicating with some seriously strong pain-killers. His erratic and moronic behaviour coincides with this long period of self medicating. In my opinion, he's better off retiring and allowing his executive engineers and managers to get on with their work before he does something idiotic. Or worse, some idiot does something to him.
Also, while the Ukrainian armed forces were very quick to recognise and exploit the power of Starlink, the US Government have been asleep at the wheel in this regard.
Yeah, that’s exactly where the money is going.

I could go on and on and on. Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries on Europe. I doubt war has changed that very much.
It was claimed during 2014 that they took in 1.4 million Ukrainian refugees
Glad to see you back. We need a few boardies on here who know what they are talking about
QSure one of them have to be the most corrupt . But what is the difference between the least corrupt and the most corrupt ? Is it .002759% or something like 2.14295% ?
Second paragraph refers to post no 99169
Hopefully this is sorted soon for Ukraine. The last thing they need is lack of ammo or artillery coming through to them as will definitely slow their advance.
Current deal with congress to avoid Shutdown is to last 45 days one of the terms was no additional funding to Ukraine, that's puts the middle of November till this gets an extension or another deal but if Republicans aren't willing to play ball this could have serious issues
Great answer. Diplomacy on rocket fuel.
Ah so it's the Ukraine is the most corrupt country propaganda angle. I need to break out the Bingo board again.
You can "go on and on" if you like. You'll be going into the Spam folder or so to speak from now on anyways.
A few months back certain posters here claimed this would never happen and any talk of cracks in coalition were pure Russian propaganda. The BBC article sums up current state of affairs quite well. Makes sad reading, hopefully not the start of a trend
Isn't it.
⬆️ He'd make one hundred of Musk.
Thats even more embarrassing then for Putin - if his mighty army is being hockeyed around the place by a Ukrainian army that hasnt seem a penny of western support cos of all the corruption!
I say that's the fear zelensky has or even the fear that will I still get 100% this funding in 1,2 possibly 5 years time if this continues.
Even worse they could block any transfer of US technology, more Abrams,F16s could get pulled, they only received 6/7 Abrams in the current shipment, this has potential for knock on'a elsewhere too
My faith in humanity is restored.
Could also be an fsb agent or even a double agent.
All be figured out.
Ukraine may be planning a major amphibious landing in Crimea but the US lack of funds may affect this plan. Pity this only encourages Putin and will lengthen the war.
Don't see them risking an amphibious assault on Crimea, if US money cut this would effect all operations across Ukraine ,
That's a big win. The only thing worse for the Russian air force then losing jet's is losing a pilot whether dead or alive.
On the west/US's foot this person will disappear off the media's radar.
Now imagine if this was the other way around. They'd be paraded through Red Square and on national television singing the Russian national anthem.
Hopefully not prempting anything but the above would show the maturity in countries and the likelihood of pilots defecting which way.
