Folks when Did Ryans Centra in Raheen Change Closing hours to 22.00 It was always 23.00.
Very hard now find a store open past 22.00.
Nice for staff seeing as closing at 23:00 doesn't mean leaving at 23:00 and makes getting a bus home a bit easier.
Depending where you're coming from, the dock road or Quick pick are both 24hr! Also the Fairgreen is 24hr.

I see the Soldiers house on OCurry street was burnt out last night.
It had been used so much recently as an exhibition space and worked well tbh. I take it may have to be pulled down shame if it has to be
Do you mean the Sailors Home ?
Outside of the art space was it ever used as anything ?
Unfortunately, it was basically left to rot.
I think the OPW owned it in the 70s/80s and used by the Dept of Justice then like the closure of Edward St & Mary St garda stations the buildings were left to rot and ruin.
Sirens and horns sounding for the last hour in the city centre. What's happening?
Some biker parade.
Feile Na Greine is on this weekend too if anyone is wondering what the sound of music around town is.
How hard is it for some Binmen (limerick company not the yellow one) to put back bins properly when finished emptying them besides leaving them all over the road. its like a obstacle course then trying to avoid them in the estate with them in the middle of the road. Its not Rocket science put back bins properly.
Does anyone know what the stench is in Castletroy today?
The Evanwood side of the Golf Links Road was disgusting all morning.
It's now making it's way up the Old Schoolhouse Road.
I'm guessing it's a nearby farm or something but I've never smelt anything this strong.
Would have absolutely no interest in modern art but it's nice to see a Limerick event get an article in an international newspaper.
Wow what was that shower of rain in Caherdavin there a few hours ago? Heaviest rain Ive ever heard, like an actual tropical downpour.
Hi, can anyone recommend a pub for a good quality pint of Guinness in Limerick city. Staying at Limerick Strand Hotel, so within that vicinity if possible.
JJ Bowles it's just up the river from the hotel excellent guinness
The walk from the Strand is nice and it's a great little pub.
It's hard to get a bad pint in the city centre as long as you stick to the traditional looking pubs. Tom Collins, Myles Breens, the majority of the pubs called Flannery's (just not the big one in "the market area") and probably a fair few more I can't think of.
Just to update. I had a pint in Miles Breen, and two in Tom Collins. The latter a quality old skool boozer
RTE news : Concern over record levels of STIs in Mid West region
Is it something in the drinking water ?
Any recommendations for a decent pub in the Woodview/Caherdavin area or should we just walk into town? Anything around Thomond really. Pub food would be nice aswell.
If you're after a pub in Thomond then JJ bowles is the one. Go across to the curragower for food.
Can't go wrong with those 2.
If you're looking for somewhere that does good breakfast in the Thomond area then check out Soda Cakes. Can eat in in Fitzgerald's pub next door or out back if the weather is nice or can get the food for take away.
Lovely thanks for that.
Sensationalist report from this rag. Just who are these numerous female murder victims referred to ? I can recall one - that of Geila Ibram.
There was another in the hotel itself a number of years back .
Don’t want to post this in the Limerick Businesses Closed thread cos it’s question and not a statement but does anyone know what’s going on with The Copper Room? Closed back in July to allow for staff holidays but hasn’t reopened since.
Similar question on Reddit the other day and one of the answers was that it may be reopening again in “Mid October”
I see from the Instagram that they had an ad looking for staff so they must be reopening at some stage.
Does anyone know if the Limerick Tyre Centre that was in Fentons Yard (before the fire) reopened anywhere else?
Oh yes, I remember that. Sylvia Roche Kelly was the lady's name.
There's a business by that name now operating next to Enterprise Cars on the Dock Road so maybe the same man who had the premises in Raheen.https://g.co/kgs/QHHKoa
