I tried purchasing something with my turkish Google play account and kept getting payment error. After looking around for an answer on reddit, saw that loads of people have been running into the same issue lately and looks like it is google patching the loophole.
You try directly on the website? Had a look on Reddit there & someone saying their from Turkey and can't pay so hopefully it'll start working again

What card you use? Good that works, they cancelled mine via play store with a full refund there earlier in the year, just left it a while & resubbed
I didn't pay for disney plus BTW if thats what you're thinking, although this is the disney sub lol was for ssport+ in Turkey, paid with local bank card.

I had all but given up on Disney Turkey, but managed to sign up yesterday for a year using my Revolut card!! I used incognito mode on a laptop, not my mobile...not sure if that made a difference.
Turn on Turkish Vpn and type in www.disneyplus.com/tr-tr
This is important, keep an eye on the address, make sure it does not default away from the tr-tr version. You can use your browser to translate. Do not log on with an existing Disney account, subscribe as a new member with an email not used previously for a Disney account.
I used a Visa Revolut ( NB : with funds to cover purchase already converted to Turkish Lira) and payment went through with no issues, no need for switching profiles, apps, Turkish phone numbers or Turkish debit cards!

Only other thing I can think of is that I had converted money to Turkish Lira within Revolut before attempting purchase...not sure but maybe that's worth trying.

I changed to prime Egypt and took out a year when Turkey went up in price. A year was about 7.50
With prime via Egypt does that include prime video and fast delivery?
Also did you need to set up an Egyptian Gmail account?

Yes Google and Disney have choked it off, you need a card originating from country of purchase even using the playstore. I tried loads of options this week multiple times between trying to sign up again on my existing account which sub was cancelled off in June and a new account setup both via existing Turkish playstore account or regular Revolut/Curve purchase nothing would work
