We bought the same day and I thought my mileage was high at 13k. I need to rotate mine too. You definitely need the pucks and I believe the nuts need to be tightened more than regular cars. No idea on exact torque though.
They will probably need to have the hockey puck things for jacking it up.
IWe sure did, ya racking up the miles. I need do a bit of research. At this rate I’ll be out of basic warranty after 2 years 🙈.
The OH put a pretty deep set of scratches on the left rear panel today. Possibly dented as well, hard to tell for sure in the rain. Is it better to go to Tesla for body work or can it be done anywhere?
I wouldn't go to Tesla, depending upon your location I would go to a good body repair shop.
Sorry to hear..😒
Yeah only got the car in May... There are two panels involved 😥. Just worried that there might be sensors cameras somewhere that mightn't be picked up by a non-Tesla bodyshop.
Tesla don't do bodywork. They will refer you to one of their approved body shops, like Ace Autobody.
People have complained about then before, that they were having a jaunt on customer cars etc., but they did a job on mine recently and it was 1st class.
Is anyone else's Sentry mode turning on at home?
I have mine set to on but to exclude home, which I have set correctly.
But a lot of the time (probably at least 40%) the app says that the sentry mode is active, I can see some battery drain, then I have to turn it off.
There's an update tonight for "minor fixes" so hopefully it'll be fixed then.
Check if you have 2 profiles set up on same car that exclude home is set on both
Post a pic.
Tesla won’t fix it anyway. They will send it to Ace.
Dented as well as scratched 😥
Tesla's Irish site lists Ace Fairview as their go-to bodyshop, but presumably I can take it to Ace in Bray and get the same know-how?
The bumper is an easy fix. The dent may require painting and that means a whole panel or a blow in.
Im sure either or with regards ace should be fine but if you’re paying yourself then I wouldn’t go to ace.
I've seen posts where people are lubricating the hatch door rubber to stop, or help with, a creaking noise. Can somebody tell me what is used to lubricate the rubber seal?
TIA.
Looks like a reasonably straightforward fix tbh - any of the crash repair places go in through the wheel arch and push out the dent using a series of bars (don’t know the name of them, they look like a load of different shaped small crowbars. It’s a very delicate job, applying tiny amounts of pressure around the dent and could take a few hours). Then a normal respray and you’re done

Paintless Dent Removal tools..
If not Ace, then where?
Where are you based?
Ashmore Ryder gets great reviews on the owners group.
Mine had almost identical damage. You're looking at a €3k repair. Ace in Bray did mine and did an excellent job.
I'm in Dun Laoghaire.
Really?? 😱
Some people have had success with autoglym rubber care;
I tried it but it didn't work for me. I have several creaks in what appears to be the rear door panels and drivers panel / b pillar.
Have booked a mobile service call which will hopefully help to get to the bottom of it as it's driving me mad!
Also check out this thread as it might help
'Fraid so. The parts were actually quite cheap - around €500 + vat. Most of the cost was labour and paint materials. Much of the scuffing in this photo rubbed off so it wasn't as bad as it looks here. Sentry mode saved me a hefty bill.

Hello, can anyone recommend seat covers suitable for model 3? Really want to protect the seats as I have an outdoor job surveying and agriculture.Â
 thanks in advance.
I bought wetokole tesla seat covers and I'm pleased with them. They look good. Also, they can be washed. They are made of neoprene which is durable. I highly recommend checking them out.
I used silicone spray first time as I happened to have some, lasted a few months. Got some gummi pledge after seeing it recommended, put it on a few weeks ago, working fine so far
Saw white ones on a new Model Y, looked like these ones..
They are pricey, but looked well. Not sure if any problems for airbags..
Does anyone know what the small number 3 means at the very end of the charging info?
3= 3phase electricity hence why you are getting 11kW charge rate.
That's an insurance price.
On no metric is that damage 3K to fix.
At best 1500.
At medium under a k.
