All these types do that and its not just shysters passing themselves of as being spiritual. Usually they ingrain themselves into organisations like charities or groups all just to get access to vulnerable or susceptible people that they can manipulate. How many times have we hard "I am shocked at so so, he was so nice and was great for the charity or group, I would never has suspected him of that".

The skills that they learn to groom young girls are also perfect skills for high energy showbiz entertainment. They kind of act like 14 year old boys who are desperate for attention, it works somehow on TV I guess.

It was always fairly obvious (to me anyway) that Brand was obnoxious, l didn’t/don’t find him funny. Having all that said, it’s also pretty obvious that he had women literally throwing themselves at him. I guess celebrity status negates getting it on with a misogynist creep. I read in the Sunday papers about a show Brand did in Dublin in 07 or 08. The backstage staff got 10 young women backstage for him. Brand had announced from the stage what he wanted them for. Didn’t any of them have a modicum of respect for themselves? Why or how did they allow themselves get into that situation.Apparently this is also commonplace with premier league footballers, rugby players etc who have no end of women literally throw themselves at them. Having looked at their decision in the cold light of day and regret their actions, is it then ok the cry rape?

I've been reading the comments under YouTube videos from mainstream news outlets (those that are not chicken enough to block comments) and the vast majority see the documentary as a disgrace, unprofessional and/or a hit piece and trial by media.
