Be careful where you store this, I bought this last summer and had it stored in the corner of the patio for easy watering can access, it left a big blue stain on the stone underneath.
Try mixing it was water, the label says "Reduced to clear"

Can charcoal be stored indefinitely or does it degrade over time?
As long as it's stored in a dry place I see no degradation at all. I regularly use what I stockpiled last year. :-)
