Yes I'm getting that as well.
5 minutes ago I got a message in my app asking me to update my payment details. Nothing has changed on my side so when I tapped on the card details they have, it says I may lose my connectivity if I don't update my details (which haven't changed!!).
Hopefully it's just a software bug and not the car so!
I got that too, the message came through at 18:44. The Only thing I could see was that my Eircode had changed to "-Z" and thought that was it.
I received similar and when i go into the app it says reason is credit card expired (which it hasn't). I suspect from messages above it is a glitch and most likely will be resolved.
Hi all, thanks for your eh.. varied advice in relation to charging to 100%! What I've done in the end is as much based on circumstances as logic, so it's a bit convoluted:
Charged to 80% at work then stopped. Then later charged to 100%, and left work about 90mins later.
Got home with 94%. 90mins later drove round trip of about 55Km.
85% when I got home.
Scheduled to charge so it's at 100% when I leave tomorrow at 8.30am.
Reckon driving tomorrow will use about 86% of range, so it'll be good to have a buffer in case any family members want a spin in the new Tesla 😜
May stop at Enfield Supercharger on way home to use my 160km free charging + I've never used public charging before.
Btw - I'm also having those connectivity issues, intermittently, but not today funny enough.
Really getting used to the car now, surprised by how fun it is to drive. I miss two main things from my last car - rear wash-wipe and a subwoofer.. would love the premium sound system. But the calm, smooth comfort of the Tesla is really appealing and charging for free at work is such a benefit...
Couple of questions.
Somebody reversed into my nearly 1 year old 3 today whilst it was parked. Fair bit of damage to it but just the one panel where the charging port is will need to be replace hopfully. Thankfully the guy came forward, apologised and gave his details.
Thankfully landing SpaceX on Mars and returning to earth seems more straight forward .....enjoy the car
Replaced mine, got them from Greendrive. Great quality.
Great, thanks for that. Now to decide whether I want to get the dual motor bit put back on. I reckon probably it looks better without. Thoughts?
Black looks good. id Leave dual motor off.
as others have said, you’ve probably learned today that you were overthinking it :)
love to hear how accurate you 86% estimate was and how it went.
Aliexpress has plenty of badge options along with every other Tesla accessory. I've purchased a good few things.
Enhauto(S3XY buttons) are making a retrofit for the deletion of stalks. Looks promising so far. Hopefully it will be relatively easy to install.
Looking potentially at a Primacy 4 as a slow puncture has been found in the sidewall after just 8000km. Would this be recommended or should I stay away?

Not unless you are changing all 4 tyres.
this one has a W speed rating (270km/h) and the Tesla ones are Y rated (300km/h).
the Primacy is also not accoustic.
Go like for like;
or at the very least the non acoustic PS4 (which will have the same rating as the OEM)
Thanks for the tip, much appreciated
Why do you install chargers in such a configuration that can charge 4 cars but only have 3 spaces....?
In the newly opened site below in my Model 3 I can only DC charge in the furthest of the 2 spaces below... farthest space and I can use the CCS plug on the 150kW unit, middle space and I can only se the CCS plug on the 50kW unit (meaning 1 side of the 150kW unit cannot be used because I'm blocking the space), and if I park in the closest space I can park there for q0 hours on AC and not be doing anything wrong...
AC charging should be NOWHERE NEAR A DC CHARGER...
Ya, that setup is a joke and the cables are too short.
All - having a weird issue with my 2021 M3 RWD on software version 2023.32.1.
Ive left it plugged in for a few days while I’ve been away. I’ve started to notice that when it gets to 100%, it doesn’t automatically start charging when the battery falls below 100% again. It used to be the case that it would automatically charge by adding a few kwhr per day if left plugged in for a long time. When I look at the app, the cable is blue and when I click on “Start Charging”, it says “start charging failed, please check your vehicle if charging doesn’t start”.
I’ve googled but not found anything particularly helpful. This has happened at home, at work and at a hotel charger I’m using so I wonder is it worth raising a ticket for?
Any views / suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance.
It's a Plaid.
Great YT channel based on it.
I know I have been watching him and Cleetus and Brent(PFI) a few years now.
Wyatt has been a god send for him. Emilio was kinda lazy when he was with Kyle.
For anyone who may be undecided about ordering a car from Inventory the Incentive of reduced finance costs are likely only to remain for orders made up to and including Thursday of this week. (Mod 3 LR RWD 0% APR compared to usual 6.9% APR, All other models 3.9% APR compared to 6.9% APR.
These savings are less visible than the Showroom Adjustments (still available on Inventory cars) but can save thousands over life of loan.
Yesterday afternoon I got an error that the 12V battery(the old lead) needs replacing. Logged the issue and got a slot for today morning 09:00 - 13:00 At noon the ranger came and replace the battery in about 15 mins. That absolutely brilliant service. I asked about the creaking issue on the modelY and he looked at that, cleaned the seals and lubricate them. Advised if creaking comes back, to log the issue as it seems to be a know problem and a fix is underway.
Impressive service
Free I hope?
Great service.
Where is the creaking coming from on your Model 3? I have a slight creak left rear side which I only notice occasionally when back seat empty. Seem to have solved it by pushing the seat belt buckle into gap..
Free and not a quibble. For the kona we had to pay for the battery as it is covered "only in the first year".
exterior seal from the boot.
How else are you meant to strap your kids in the boot?
Tesla drivers.
