Kinda reminds of something I read before which amounted to:
If the headline on an article is a question the actual answer is almost always "No".
The reason being that if the answer was instead "Yes" then the headline would have been an assertion rather than a question
Well actually no I didn't know full well.
There's a Martian leader now? You have a source for that Gregor?
Targeting the most vulnerable as usual
Something is afoot with the North Koreans...
NORTH KOREA HAS said that leader Kim Jong Un is to visit Russia and meet President Vladimir Putin, with the reclusive ruler’s armoured train reportedly on its way to the border. Experts suggest Putin is seeking artillery shells and antitank missiles from North Korea for Moscow’s war on Ukraine, while Kim is reportedly in search of advanced technology for satellites and nuclear-powered submarines, as well as food aid.

Searching for advanced technology in Russia? Good luck with your search, Mr. First Chairman of the National Defense Commission.
Nuclear submarines.
And some food. 😂😂
North Korea to sell old soviet (s)crap back to the Russians at a marked up price? Oh I'd be damn sure you wanna ink that deal in person, enjoy the occasion."
"Oh Sure Vlad, my old chum, we'll sell back the old tat you thought you were fobbing off on us; about the price ..."
The North Korean army is absolutely ancient, they are not a modern fighting force. It's a huge army but comically underequipped and would get decimated in a conventional war. What they can do is supply tons of ancient Soviet stocks to Russia of ammunition which is useful to them.
They don't have stocks of anything high-tech, so I'm sure there is plenty that Russia can give them that would be very desirable/useful.
Didn't that border meeting between Kim and Putin happen a few weeks ago?
Your man on Sky News said many of the N. Korean shells are old and sometimes don't work. UA reported some of Russia's shells not exploding.
They last met in 2019 in Vladivostock in Russia.
Putin is there for a forum and thats where Kim is heading according to reports.
This is mad, read the full post.
That's Aiden Aslin one of the English fellas captured fighting in Mariupol, sentenced to death but subsequently released.
The fella next to him is American John Mark Dougan who's wanted in the US and claimed asylum in Russia.
The state of North Korea's army as we know of it, I'd be amazed if some of the shells didn't explode in the Russians' artillery barrells.
Booby trapped?
If Kim's personal train can only go 25 mph, I wouldn't be too worried about their weapons
Is that a Mars bar in the Americans trousers or is he just excited by the torturing?
Edit: also if there's any Morse code enthusiasts. He's doing riverdance with his eyes.
Betteridge's law. Rarely goes wrong.
I keep picturing the scene from Braveheart where the Irish arrive on the battlefield.
Can't have nuclear subs full of sailors starving to death 🤣
North Korean military parade.
You'd feel for the women in the center of the square made to nod with bright pink dusters taped to their heads.
Opytne could be about to be liberated. The stalemate continues.
Is this Wikipedia article worth reading? The answer will blow your mind!!
Despite being a stone age nation, they seem to have a fairly advanced army of hackers.
Celebrating Russian high culture, the culture of bringing death and misery to as many people as possible.
Generation after generation of culture...
You'd wonder what the hell all those medals were for; the ones worn by what I presume are the top generals seen on the podium? The material of the uniforms barely visible for the sea of fake(?) gold awarded for ... ... successful drills? Bravery while going to the toilet?
And a penny for the thoughts of all those Koreans "persuaded" to attend the parade; clapping and waving the miniature flags - or else. Maybe they're bribed with bread or mouldy jam.
It's a sorry sight to see two Korea's, and absolutely no way the South could ever truly liberate the North. Not without massive bloodshed on both sides again. It's hard to even seen how the North might loosen up enough to start talks with its neighbour - their mutation into a medieval state complete - but that's another thread altogether.
What a strange country.
15hrs on a train at 25mph is comical, the only saving grace would be watching cyclists passing out the train on the greenway would pass the time.
A sea of dead eyes.
And kim really channeling that Baron Harkonnen vibe.
I've recently been introduced to a Finnish lad, in his mid to late twenties at a guess, next time we sit down for a coffee I'm going to ask him for his views.
Retaking a chunk of Donetsk while most of the concentration is on the south. Would certainly be a victory of sorts as the the winter sets in.
