Dualsenses and faceplates
Be nice if they sold faceplates in Ireland.
Red, Blue and Silver consoles revealed
There's won't be anything new in the State of Play, from the PS blog:
Tomorrow’s broadcast will focus on updates to previously announced games coming to PlayStation consoles. From indie and PS VR2 highlights, to major upcoming titles from our third-party partners, our latest show has something for everyone!
So wouldn't be getting any hopes up. Maybe they'll drop a surprise, doubt it though. Still waiting on the new Astro game!
I actually didn't know CoD had 3D audio support on PS5, I thought it was just the first party Sony stuff.
I'm convinced it's a serious atdvantage using it for games like COD because you can tell exactly in which direction an enemy is approaching from with their footsteps
The atmos support is great but it really only works properly on Sony titles, still it is lag-free. Hopefully we see proper 3rd party support going forward.
Surely
Pacific Drive(possible PSVR2)
Little Devil Inside (MIA for ages)
Stellar Blade
Rise of the Ronin
RE4 PSVR2
FF7 Rebirth
Will all be at the State of Play
Silksong maybe too although it's on GP so probably will be at an Xbox direct.
5 hour trial of The Crew Motorfest up on the store. Premium not needed.
Ends 17th September.
We definitely need some indie or AA games announced as day 1 on Extra. I have a feeling there will be multiple announcements for day 1 extra games over the next 6 months but then again it's Sony.
Stellar Blade release date?
Any other announced games were waiting on info for?
I guess new Final Fantasy and maybe the Silent Hill remake.
Wonder if they'll announce at least one game being day one on Plus to try and justify the increase, even though the game they do it with will cost less than the increase.
State of play tomorrow about Indies and 3rd party titles.
Still no XMB folders... saving that for the Pro release.
This is the full official release of the recent Beta 5.0 and 5.1 features. No need for any codes, it's available to everyone.
Highlights:
* Mute PS5 beep sound
* Support for 8TB M.2 SSDs
* Dolby Atmos-enabled audio devices 3D Audio powered by Tempest 3D
* Second DualSense controller for assistance
* System UI Haptic Feedback
* Social feature enhancements
* Search for games in your library
* Game Help improvements
* Discover new features/tips
* New Voice Command options (U.S. and U.K. limited release)
* New PS App enhancements
* PS Remote Play support on additional Android devices
Like it? Yeah, it's definitely cool, altho is maybe missing the x factor to make you go wooooo... Still I have 2 dualshocks now, this one and the Ragnorak one, I might not game as much as I like, but when I do I like to game in style 😎

I have 3700 but I always forget to "Start" them. One of them is September Monthly Picks, and of the only games listed I had AC6 and have played around 10 hours. But traded it yesterday so now I can't get that one. Feels like too much effort, so I'll probably leave it build up and get a €50 voucher some day.
Do you like how the controller looks?
I didn't unbox my one yet as I'm considering sending it back. I'll make up my mind on it soon.
Just started the apps for rocket league, death standing and generation zero, all 3 challenges popped and got my 150 coins, handy 10 euro voucher. Absolutely no interest in the digital collectibles and the coin grind looks very slow alright but nice surprise when they build up. Will try to remember to check in on it to see if any handy ones to complete. I can't see it on the console, just the app, would be much easier if i could track on console.
I intermittently follow it. It's quite easy to rack up points if you want to but it can be admin heavy (e.g. download six mystery games and play them once - the games are revealed by news outlets) so if you really wanted €5-€20 of vouchers, its eminently doable.)
PushSquare are great for guides.
The whole Stars campaign seems such a wasted opportunity to me by Sony, 90% of the 'challenges' are just for pointless digital collectibles, the rest is a very slow grind towards a very small psn voucher. I mean if I get a bit of free money great, but zero motivation to care about the challenges etc
I just checked mine. I have 3280 points. Never noticed this at all.
Haven't looked at it properly, but assumed I wasn't gaming enough to take advantage :D
Just checked and I have 871. That sounds about right :D
Does anyone follow that Stars thing? I never bothered with it and just saw i had 2,380 points. Another 150 points and I can get 10 euro psn credit. Saw there were 3 live goals where you could earn 50 stars each and you just had to play any of a list of games that i happened to already own. Downloading them atm to pop the stars and get my credit, must keep a closer eye on this.
If getting PS5 before Thursday buying a ps plus subscription this evening will save you some cash also. Ps plus prices go up tomorrow.
It is currently on offer for a period of 2 weeks that ends on Thursday. This is the second time they've run this offer since the end of July.
Tbh I can't see the PS5 being cheaper at Black Friday than it is now, especially with the new slightly smaller model apparently imminent.
Is this true as I was going to wait till black Friday sales to purchase?
Should i just get it now so?
It was €80 here too.
It looks amazing I love the design, thinking of getting one but can't seem to find any in ireland, only place is Amazon.fr and its €80
Anywhere, just get it before Thursday. The price goes back up to €550 from it's discounted price of €470 then.
Where would be the best place to get a PS5 at the moment?
(I have mine already but my little cousin is looking to get one so was hoping to find a deal for his parents)
