Yep. He appears to have bags and bags of energy, but can do very little with it*.....the term 'headless chicken' always springs to mind when I see him playing.. He's made 100 appearances for (a very very poor) Ireland, and you could probably count on 1 hand the amount of games where he's had a good game.. I know he's scored 11 goals for Ireland, but you can still have a sh1te game and end up scoring a goal...
*Now obviously he can do something as he's a professional footballer, and has made it this far, and good luck to him in doing so... but he could have kept his head down, kept quiet and still had a fantastic life without all the negative baggage he insists on dragging around behind him.

Just because Duffy wears the poppy on his jersey doesn't mean he is right. McClean has every right to refuse to wear the poppy without getting the abuse he gets. you have to admire him for standing up for what he believes in especially with all the hatred he gets for his beliefs. I always thought his Irish teammates were pretty cowardly for not backing him up and also refusing to wear the poppy. politics and football shouldn't mix.
its ridiculous to try to downplay his 100 caps as well just because you dislike him. he scored some very important goals for Ireland, like the one v wales and 2 against Serbia.
Yes he has a right to believe whatever he likes but so do other people, something he seems to forget. In his mind he's always the victim and everyone is out to grt him. That's not something to admire.
Yes he has 100 caps would in most of them the most he's done is get a yellow card within 5 minute. He's the luckiest man to ever get 100 caps for any country.
