Needs some work done too. Though I like them a lot.
Almost no mileage done in the past 3 years. I doubt all these issues have been rectified.
Think I have seen a car for sale by this crowd on Pistonheads "shed of the week" before. The language in the ad is hard to forget and distinctly unfriendly

^ A Bordeaux red one of them passed me out on the N4 near Kinnegad a few weeks ago, still looks remarkably fresh for a 32 year old design.
That one would be about €3-3.3K landed and registered here, so looks good value. No pics of interior which is a bit odd.
Nice find anyway.
Nice original BMW

Always liked these, far more rare than a Lexus LS.
Not a crazy price either .
Looks like the same car here - with better photo's but wearing a different reg. Note what looks like mileage disclaimer sticker on the dash, sagging headliner and a lot of cracked leather. Was being sold previously by a trader.

1992 Toyota Camry GL Automatic 65 miles
Hard to go wrong with that, a very modern reliable classic for 2400
A RARE five-speed manual transmission with only 67K miles from new
Nice project, needs little, has a mot

Nice spec 190 2.6
Wold love one of these. Still a while away from being a classic, but colour is beautiful and seems to have been completely looked after - seller claims entirely by Alfa specialists.

200 vrt, and vat 23% customs 10%, no Nox
As far as I know. I think it could be all in on the road in Ireland for 4700 euro, if it was bought for 3k pound, which would be decent, pretty sure there was one on done deal for 11,750 of late wit vintage tax.
Power steering leak on Lexus mentioned in AD, they have a vacuum pipe on the power steering pump, a valve of some sort, it can fail and lead to power steering fluid getting drawn into air intake, easy fix , if it was that
Sweet find and a reasonable price @BorneTobyWilde
So to refresh our memory, what's involved importing it. Just €200 classic VRT but is there any VAT / NOx penalty or import duties?

1992 K Mazda 626 2.5 V6 GT Auto 5dr Low Mileage 2 Owners From Same Family
33% for the right car at right price is not so bad.
3300 per 10K
Seems very clean, a likeable car these, rare to see one so nice
I just use a rough guide of the price of the car in £UK, add on 50% and you have the price here in Euros. Includes driving it back from England.
I think the official price is:
Price of car + €500. Then add 35.5% to this for Revenue (as per Esel above).
Then another €200 VRT on top.
Add to this your ferry, fuel, NCT etc. And this is only for cars over 30 years.
I'd rather pay the extra for a RHD if it's something I'll be driving a couple of times a week for 30-40 weeks of the year. Easier to sell as well, unless it's rare.
Actually it's 35.3%, because VAT is applied to (price+duty) i.e. you pay VAT on the duty as well.
Also, 'price' in the above paragraph is actually (purchase price + shipping and insurance). Don't forget that bit.
For sure, the only problem is that they are 99.99% LHD which a lot of people (or insurance companies) don't like. But you could bring a RHD car in from Malta, savage road trip home in a classic car!
