Maybe. I'll need to check that.
I'll see if I can find it in the app...
Is it this? It's set to 100%
The charge rate limits are set on the Zappi console itself. Did the installer mention if they only used a 16 amp cable when installing the Zappi? If they did they would have to set a lower grid limit which you shouldn't change.
Edit: That should be device limit, not grid limit.
I'll find out - thanks !
Yes, that's it. You've basically set the charging to Eco +, so only charge during the day from excess solar PV and you are using Adolf mode. As in only ever use 100% solar, zero compromise. I use the same setting myself 😂
From your graph, you are producing 4.3kW from solar and your house is using 0.5kW, so with your settings the car will only get what's left over from solar. In your case 3.8kW
I don't have solar !
The boost is set to come on every night so should charge then at whatever is set as full rate. Keeping it on Eco+ is a way of making sure it doesn't charge from the grid during the day.
He's got a boost scheduled below it, that'll override the Eco+ and charge in Fast mode
You need to check it on the Zappi itself
Two things to check, the device limit and grid limit
NOTE: Don't change any settings without confirmation from the installer
You need to go to Other settings, then Advanced (default pin 0000) and then Supply Grid
Go into Device and check the Device Limit setting, it should be set to somewhere up to 32A, although I think it's best to leave some headroom. I've mine set to 29.4A
Next thing to check is in Network and is the Grid Limit setting. It should be set to slightly below the main fuse for your house. My house has a 63A fuse so I've the grid limit set to 57A
Last thing to check is the CT config. Normally CT1 is used for the supply grid, go into the config and check if this is the case (it might be on the wrong CT input)
You can check if it's the correct CT by going into CT1 for example and looking at the readings for Current and Power
Turn something like the kettle on and you should see the reading jump up to 3000W or so
Thanks all - waiting for installer to get back to me first
Apologies, I misread your graph!
Tried this but no joy. Pulling 2.2kw from grid and 2.2kw from sun so 4.4kw going into car. Nothing being pulled from my battery in my house.
What's the inverter rated for? And can you get more than 2.5kW out if the battery? I think they can be limited to 0.5C discharge
If working / configured correctly, it should discharge something at least.
Does the battery ever discharge ? Maybe you have a forced discharge schedule setup ???
Car is at 16A for charging. Is that right?
If it is on 3 phase yes. 230 x 16 x 3
Nope, that'll give you around 3.6kW charging
Try setting it to 32A
16A is max
It should automatically go to 32A when plugged in to a single phase charge point. You can then reduce the Amps if you so wish
Ok. So it should switch to 32A once it starts charging?
Is that what you are saying?
Yes, I think so. providing your charger is outputting 32A. My car is not charging at the moment, if I go into the App it defaults to 16A, can reduce it but cannot increase it. Yet will always charge at 32A (Unless I want less)
Sorry if I am coming in on this late, but am I usnderstanding that you only have a battery and no solar? Do you know what battery you have and what power it can output? It would have to be a hefty battery to output more that a few kilowatts!
OK - even though I didn't actually change anything and played around with the settings in the car it charged at 7Kw last night !
So I dunno what was going on - this was all my charging last month:
But last night it was 7 !
Anyhow - thanks all for the help
No - I have no power other than the grid - I use eco plus to set the night scheule for charging at 100%
Anyhow - seems to be working now
Has anybody been logged out of the myenergi app and can’t get back in again?
No, but my Zappi threw a wobbler when I unplugged the 530e (charger perfectly) and put it into my Model 3. Loads of errors etc
Turns out an update was there ready sk installed that and rebooted and all good.
Unsure if related or not.
I got logged out but didn't have any trouble logging in. I did notice the app asked for notifications permission, so I wonder was there an update and they had to force everyone to login again
I'm sure I was previously logged on with my hub I'd and password, whereas yes, I got prompted to logon but it's now taking my portal "myaccount" login details. And I also got prompted about allowing notifications.
Just use the Forgot Password link
I had to re register to get back in again. Ugh

Before I go back to the installer….
I recently had a Zappi installed and since then the Eddie is loosing connection. Meaning I cannot boost the hot water.
I haven’t had the time to turn off or bypass the Eddie.
has anyone experienced this?
