You'll love it, it's absolutely HUGE!
I've never been which is surprising since I lived within 5km of the place all my life! Every time I drive towards Ashbourne I say I should call in but I never did.
So exciting, @Loughc! We were in the same boat a few years ago, baby due December 19th. Once Christmas Eve came, I said "you may stay in there now till I've had my Christmas dinner" 🤣 She stayed put until I had my St. Stephen's Day dinner too, lol! I like to think it's why she loves a Turkey & Ham dinner so much 😜
I don't live that far away from the M50 Christmas shop, we go there at least once a year, have you been there before?
Gonna be a strange Christmas for me as we will either have a couple of days old new born or we will be a few days away from the arrival of elf number 2.
Not sure which outcome I’d rather more. Either way we won’t see 2024 without elf number two.
Ah its always at the back of my mind somewhere too 😀
When the weather was miserable in august and the schools were back I was very excited with the nice weather it’s slipping from my thoughts a bit.
Although I am beginning to dream about getting ready for Christmas so it’s burrowed in my brain somewhere.
Was actually the first time I'd watched it in its entirety.
I watched The Holiday 2 nights ago when it popped up on Netflix. It's a great movie but it did feel a tad too early.
I must admit, normally by now I'm getting cravings for the coming season & build up, what with the kids back to school, bits starting to appear in the shops etc. but between work & home commitments (& the improved weather) its very difficult to feel even remotely excited about the next few months. I'd love one of those idyllic arrangements you see so often on the TV where people have the time to relax into the season... we watched 'The Holiday' on netflix last night (randomly it was in Irelands top 10) and even that failed to raise my interest, its all still a little too soon (for me anyway) it seems.
I'm taking a spin to the M50 Christmas shop on Saturday. We're apparently looking for slate or plant pots or something I really don't care about but I'm dying to have a nose at the Christmas stock!😀
When the weather was lousy we couldn't wait for the season to get here and now that the weather has picked up we are back talking about sitting in the garden and nice walks in the evening.
We were talking a couple of weeks ago about how a movie and a music channel are due to turn to full time Christmas content this weekend and the shops are starting to display Christmas stock. When this happens and the sun is splitting the stones the Bah Humbugs will be out in force 😄
So my RTE insider was premature... tut tut
just kids application to be on the show opened. No tickets application open yet.
Think ive found my jumper for this year 😁
Tickets, or so I've been told anyway.
Is it application for tickets for applications to be on the show itself?
Are we to old to apply?
Applications for tickets for this years LLTS are now open.
Thanks for that. Feel like it went well but no hopes up until results are out next month.
Another fab day out. All the talk of the beach here yesterday put the going on me so packed up the swim suits & headed off for a dip after work. It was just lovely, even though I was nearly in Holyhead before I got any depth 😂
Spent all day with one of us in the house waiting for an IKEA delivery and it never turned up - so cross now, what a waste of a day 😡. First time ordering from them so I've no idea if this is the norm. The tracking says out for delivery and the chatbot wasn't able to help us so have to wait and make contact with them in the morning.
Happy Birthday @sunbabe08, very best wishes and @Andrew93 , hope the exam went well today.
Well that is terrifying.
Just a friendly reminder!
Looking forward too the 'Ireland Rugby World Cup' DVD out for Christmas 😆
Tbh physical media is dying which in turn means Stocking fillers are made more difficult
Went for a swim last night and this morning. Beautiful sunny days and more people at the beach last night than I've seen there since June, most days in July and August that there was only a handful of stalworths on the beach.
I just heard an ad on the radio for the Gaiety Panto, I think it's the first time I've heard it this year. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
I went to the beach Yesterday.
First time I was there when the water was warm.(ish)
Gosh I'm just thinking that we didn't have the paddling pool out the whole summer holidays, I feel so sad now 😥
