That plane is busy
So these repetitive over flights are mapping related ? I remember a few years back the geological survey duo at Weston but never seen this before .
Heard an A124 flying out of Shannon last night. Which military would be operating this and to where usually?
The only military operator I can think of is Russia. Others are civilian-operated.
Non military.

Thanks
Yesterday, I saw a large fixed wing aircraft repeatedly flying across North Wicklow. Any idea what this was about?
Had a quick scrub back on flight radar, looks like this Pilatus PC-6 was doing survey work between 15:30 utc and 17:15 utc
Couple of PC-21s coming in from France(?) over the last short while?
Anyone any idea what just came into baldonnel? Mad looking plane
Sounded like a helicopter? Quick look on adbs shows it as us military callsign Pagan31 but no other info, maby an osprey?
mv-22b tiltrotor
Yea my mistake, was helicopter
Im glad we are still neutral ...................................
Our airforce is flying around Baldonnel at the moment .....
The 2 planes are circling ...... 😋
The Notre Dame v Navy college football game is on Saturday in the Aviva at 730pm... might generate some activity. There's a visiting US warship in Dublin port for comparison.
Makes sense now, uss mesa verde is in port and usually has a few mv22 sitting on it so probably expect a flyby tomorrow
And again today.
USS Mesa Verde due in port Friday and the game is on Saturday.

Totally off topic but that thing is bigger than the entire Irish Naval Service. Including all the ones that can't put to sea! Both in terms of tonnage and personnel (crew and marines).
Why is EI133 snn-bos flying so far north over greenland https://www.flightradar24.com/EIN1AC/31d3d575
vs.
EI135 dub-bos much further south https://www.flightradar24.com/EIN13J/31d37ba5 ?
They are following the currently operating North Atlantic tracks that are heading westbound towards the United states.
This article does a great job of explaining how the system operates.
Or if you prefer in a short video.
Is there an V-22 still in Ireland, something flew over the house in D22 it showed up on adsb so a plane icon
Really enjoyed that video. Explained it in handy layman's (me) terms.
Thanks for posting.
Anyone know whats up with FR1863?.
Left Manchester to Cork two hours ago, circled around Cork for a while....now being diverted to Liverpool.

Any FR24 feeders here? Have noticed a good bit of drop out on FR24 over last few days. Ongoing at the moment.
When you look up aircraft on ADS-B exchange , how do you find out what their destination is?
You don't, unless you monitor a flight till it lands.
ADS-B is only capturing the data stream transmitted from the aircraft and that's limited to identification, current position, altitude and velocity and a few other parameters.
Here's a stream showing data from 4 planes and a primer below that:
