This is ireland. Are you irish. We have a long history of not looking after our cars, horses or donkeys. It's considered well looked after if it has an nct cert come on
I'll be honest, I didnt wanted to say that. 😅 As a Pole I can't say we are perfect, but overall looking at family and friends, more people care about their cars there than here.
Here it's kinda as long it drives its OK.
Now you have it.. If you want an old car and perfection get a new jap import.. If you want something that drives a bit over recommended oil maintenance and still gets high miles - then buy a Toyota 😂👍
https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/2011-toyota-avensis-1-8-auto-tr-v-matic/34945847 could be good could be bad hard know. From a mechanical stand point they are reliable normally. These aren't common and most I'd imagine are ex taxis. 187k miles supposedly. Although with that reg I'd have thought it'd be an original Irish car. So that could well be 187km on the clock.
Nice enough looking car and they're very comfortable.
Exactly. Ah shur she's a Toyota she doesn't need any servicing, de go worse after a service 😡
Spot on
Ladd roughly what do you reckon a 2003 520i automatic m sport , black, leather interior with new nct is worth? 110k miles. 3 owners.
Litres of shine gunk is one thing but it wouldn't have killed him to give it a lash with with the aul hoover and even a roller brush wash in Maxol for good measure.
I wouldnt mind Toyota, if I didn't had to push them up hill 🤣 I'm a big lad, most of the cars feel to tiny to me. I had big expectations from Prius but it was a tin can for me.
I still have two weeks before I'll need the car, hopefully I'll find something till then.

This is the car I was going to recommend to you originally.. Sure it's only tax
100% agree with you. I do a quick garage car wash & hoover at the very least on any car I sell. And the way that car is being presented for sale is very poor.
But… its more reasons to get money off the asking price. Tell the seller the car is disgusting and that it needs a €200 valet. Most inexperienced sellers will fold instantly. Thats what I meant by those are the types of cars you can get a bargain with.
I've seen it already. It's on my list as well. Now I only need to sell few teeth, maybe part of a kidney to cover the tax.
I'm in a pickle cause I need something powerful enough to haul my large ass, low tax and in 3000€ range.
Any picture
Looking at the screw marks on the dash my guess is ex taxi
Well spotted.
Be hard give 3k for it.
As said before yoshtik it's a seller's market and there's really not much out there.
Auto 1.8 civic saloon was my original recommendation but they're way too dear at the moment.
You'd get a nice 2.0 auto accord for 2k-ish but it's enough for them considering their age and the 700 tax
Thats what I have now on the list as well, nice 2.2 auto Accord, lovely car, but I cant spend so much on tax alone, being stuck on Illness Benefit for at least year or so, that 300-400€ is a big difference now. In the end I wont be surprised that as much I hate that car I will end with Corolla.
Theres load of cars on market, but finding that pearl is a hard one. If I add to that Im looking mostly for automatic, that makes that even harder.

Not much cheap fast spacious cars out there
@yoshiktk just reading your above post is €710 too much tax
I know. I've had BMW, for now have to say bye bye, big pocket drainer, the same with A6. Lovely car to drive, but brakes my heart when I see the repair bill. I've option of fixing mine but Im afraid that would be to big bill to swalow.
You are harder to shop for than a woman at Christmas 😂👍👌
I'm having another look to see what suggestions I can find for you
Rotfl. 🤩😎
Its a car ill spend another two years going back and forth, I just cant imagine driving something which I dont like, and thats the biggest issue now. I dont have fun shopping for the car, that makes it even harder.
I know this car, I have been under the thing. This is a serious buy.
Serious bus for that money. It is a clean as the pictures show, and sold by a Saab enthusiast. Grab it someone please!
Saab 95 €2,850
Offer €2,500 and it's yours.
Can You sponsor me the one year tax? Than I will take it. It looks lovely. Goood im tempted even with the tax
It really stood out when I was looking on DoneDeal. Seems like a good one
I'd be very tempted to spray/wrap the chrome trim to black on the front if it was mine
Im second in line if it wont go.
It really seems a good one. Add it to your list maybe
It is if You dont have a full time job 😅
I have few Saabs on my list, good alternative to all the Mondeos and Insignias.
Ha ha, anything is better than them, sacrilege to be comparing a Saab to those junkers🤬
Ive had 2005 Mondeo Ghia, cant say a bad word about it, maybe besides werid engine, comfy seats, few nice extras. But newer gen was a let down. I test drove one when was looking for a new car. Rubbish car, picked Passat than instead. Same price tag but completely different feeling.
I have 3 nice Saabs to pick from, one deadly cabrio but over my budget sightly and two nice 93. One over 250bhp, my heavy foot is tempted.
@CoBo55 I think you mentioned before, what do you drive
love that saab
