The odds of any person dying in a plane crash in a given year would be at least one million to one. The fact that Prigozhin is dead literally a few weeks after the armed rebellion means everyone in Russia will know he was taken out.

Question is whether he was onboard his plane when the shootdown occurred. Given Priogozhin does have some sway within the Kremlin it's not impossible for him to have been tipped off.
Beyond that he must have surely known that his Mutiny would only end up with him in a coffin sooner rather than later.
