I noticed that everything I turn on autopilot that the auto-high beams are turned on also but not activated. Any ways to turn this off?

Yes. Push the stalk forward.
If they're not actually on what does it matter? Does that not just mean they'll come on if it's dark? You can switch off auto high beams if you want. I had them off for years until they were fixed via an update last winter.

I looked in the menus this evening and it seems not... BUT I'm seeing as to how the auto setting is ok on its own for 99.9% of times.
Funny how when you ask a question, live with it for a few days, how it changes your perspective. I live my MY LR. Best car I've ever had even if I don't really need the LR for most of my driving (but I do love the extra acceleration... That (legal!) RUSH!) 😁😁😁

I just leave it as is. I live in Dublin so don’t suffer any of the AHB issues that people have expressed.
I mentioned before that I’d like to use my Y for local Hackney work, unfortunately No garrage can get me clear glass to replace existing rear door windows and Tesla themselves said “ sorry we don’t have an alternative to the standard tinted glass as of yet “
it actually appears that selling the Y and buying a new 3 ( which has clear glass as standard) is the cheapest option as the SPSV grant for a new EV is 10 k where as i can only collect 9k for my six month old Y , question is folks

The reason the Y is getting 9k is because it’s classed as second hand now.
The Y has a lot more room for sure and would be a better taxi IMO but the 3 is really a great taxi too.
Ill ask around my contacts for Y glass options.
I saw someone advertising taxi glass for TESLA, it may have been done deal, if I spot it again I will post. I only remember seeing it as I found it funny I had just read the whole taxi clear glass chat on here, or would never have known it was a thing. Y far better as a taxi - customer perspective.

Have you checked if model 3 rear glass is the same?
I know the Y is a bigger car than the 3 but wonder are the doors the same size, I'd say there's a fair chance they would be and therefore the glass would be the same size. I'd imagine if all that lines up that you could simply swap the clear 3 glass with tinted Y glass. You get your clear glass and someone gets a free tint that owns a model 3.

RWD comes with clear glass as standard
I just checked and so does the Model 3 LR. I could have sworn it had a dark tint in.
I believe That it is ONLY front windows in Model 3 that are double glazed (single on rear) whereas the Mod Y has double glazed front and back which helps with noise etc. may also be a consideration for any swap

Only MY has rear tints. All M3 has clear glass.
No simple. Can be done in your garden if you know what your doing.

I noticed that when driving at significant speed (over 85kmph or so) that there is a high pitched tone coming from the car. It is faint, also like a ringing ear, but it is there and it increases in pitch the faster you go.
It is intermittent, about once every minute or so for about 20s then stops and will repeat for about 5-10 mins before stopping for a longer period (or at least it seems this way to me).
It's so high in pitch that my parents (70s) can't hear it but younger people in the car (<45 or so) can hear it for sure.
Anyone know what this tone is and how to stop it apart from extreme aging!? 😂
