They are at odd angles. It's related to the wavy walls and the fact the rooms are odd shapes, not rectangular/square. Looks lovely on an architects drawings, can be a total pain for furnishing, especially anything built in.
Was asking €200k back in 2015.....
Thought it was a Cobb house so Googled it. Timber frame with straw bales for insulation!
Would that not go up like a light.
That is one uggleee emmeffing house.
That house would send me over the edge completely!
The skewways floorboards for starters - it's hard to judge but most seem to have been laid at random angles just for the hell of it.
Looks like a pale, watery imitation of a similar house that featured on Grand Designs years ago (that really was a hand built cob house) - that one would also have put me in an early grave, but at least they had the courage of their convictions and did it all properly and authentically. Took them about 10 years, and a few armies of volunteers to get it finished, mind you, if memory serves....
All that. But photo 32. That pipe would live in my head 24 hours a day.
Do you mean photo 34? Looks like a stove flue to me..... way to gently cook whoever has to share the space with it upstairs......
ETA - and yet I can't see any sign of a stove anywhere downstairs?
That Leitrim house should be lovely, but it's awful.
White PVC windows, the mystery flue and 2 different types of stairs, bannisters and handrails on the first floor, the narrow second floor landing with the flue again, this time to be navigated by children to get to the play area.
No interior design flair and a lack of colour and interest throughout.
The garden is lovely though.
Mystery flue ha ha. Looks like they have a snug behind a partition in pic 9. (Partition wall beside dinner table)
Does the door at the bottom of the stairs in picture 15 open in towards the stairs? I'd be nervous coming down those stairs worried I'd get smacked by someone opening it.
I love this apart from the green kitchen.
Not my cup of tea, its like a hobits house. . I hope they didnt chop down that old tree for the stairs.
I don't know why but something tells me they like horses. 🤣
Did they sell a site for the neighbours house?
What might look like a site sold off is probably the National School.
'No Stopping. Teachers cars only beyond this point. ' Grammatical issues aside, is that even legal?
Why has every bedroom got a couch placed at the end of the bed as if for people to sit and 'watch'?

This, this is just idyllic.
I love it!!!! Right beside Mondello Park so if you don't like the noise of race cars and motorbikes, it isn't for you.
They film porn in each room. The camera guy has to have some where to sit while recording.
That is just beautiful 😍
I can't seem to attach a screenshot, but the area they live in is called Cockbridge.
Just scroll down to the map part of the page and you'll see it.
Yip Cock Bridge is correct. I used to race motorbikes and it always gave me a giggle when I passed it on the way to Mondello.
Had to laugh at the EA spiel on this one
Liam Reilly Auctioneers are proud to present this One Bedroom Detached Prefabricated House on c.3 Acres with Outhouses.
...
Viewing comes highly recommended on this great property with its enormous potential in a private setting.

JFC, that’s an outrageous price for something that they could use in the next series of The Last of Us
How many kitchens and dining rooms do you need???
That's absolutely beautiful!
Full of dual aspect rooms 😍
EA spiel likes that really makes me laugh - they really must think people are stupid. They should market it for what it is - a site which it may be easy to get planning on and thats basically it. The house is completely worthless - its knock down and build something else
Yes its a lovely house - it seems to have a working kitchen and another cooking/dining kitchen which looks awful and completely out of place. Its the only room I hate. What were they thinking putting in those awful tiles and cooker into what could be a lovely room. It just seems unnecessary.
If you look at the floor plan it looks like the house is split into two separate houses. One main 5 bedroom and a separate 2 bedroom house. There doesn't seem to be any internal doors between the two. Hence, why there are 2 kitchens.
The Meath 'house' is on .3 of an acre, which is not big enough to put a septic tank on, though there are some water treatment plants that can go on small sites, whether Meath coco would allow it is another question. The whole site is 1.5 hectares and it is not at all clear what bit of that you get as your .3 of an acre, the outbuildings appear to be distant from the house so its hard to see how it works.
Whole place looks like a depressing kip that would be very difficult to make anything of.
I realise this could be a total money pit, but look at the price!
And it's in a town, with a train station. Could be fabulous
