I had a test drive on Saturday, was told I’d get the inventory discount if I ordered from the same email address as I registered with. Am about to pull the trigger but no clarity on the discount is making me hold off…
Might be a good idea to check on the web chat link that you'll find on the inventory page. I haven't found the Dublin showroom to be the most reliable source of information in the past!

Is the inventory discount on the 3 or the Y, or both? We’re close to ordering a Y from inventory

FYI - lower PCP rates (3.9%) are now in place on Tesla website. Looks like for both 3 and Y. Custom and Inventory. LR RWD in inventory have the 0% rate.
Update: this is being applied to my M3LR still awaiting delivery. Confirmed with Tesla and Finance Ireland.
I wonder if there is a deal to be had if you have the older higher PCP rates?

Yeah, I assume they won't refund me my credit union cash so I can pay that off and refine through them. Seems unlikely. Anyone trying this?

Ordered a MY RWD on Aug 10th. How long does it normally take Finance Ireland get back to you after a credit check?
Can already see my VIN on my booking invoice btw.
I ordered from existing inventory with no add ons for €48,021 as I was told there is an extra €1500 discount on preconfigured vehicles.
Does anyone know if all new MY’s are HW4.0?

So far there are no reports of cars coming from Shanghai with HW4. I feel sure it wont be long but perhaps best to manage your expectations and assume that it wont have it. Will be interesting to see if the 1500 discount is offered (not sure who told you it was available). Best of luck with the car.
No HW4 deliveries yet. And assuming you bought from inventory as stated, then the car is here or on the way already so Deffo not HW4.
And there's no guarantee that HW4 will be better than HW3, just as there's no guarantee Highland Model 3 will be better than existing model. It looks quite likely that 2022 model 3 is better than the 2023 which will be better than the 2024.
Yeah not all of the changes are necessarily progressive for the better. As was the case with dropping USS park sensors and the forthcoming Highland Model 3's apparent move to screen-based gear shifting.
USS I agree.
Screen based shifting I have no issue with. On the ModelS there is also the physical buttons to put it in gear below the centre console so maybe the 3 will have that too.
Dunno why they're moving from stalks other than supposed cost savings. Seems like a pain in the backside if you're trying to do a quick three point turn having to take the hands off the wheel and reach for the screen or console. Same goes for steering wheel based indicator buttons.

They are handing over any auld crap to the customer and telling them they'll fix it later. Makes British Leyland in the 70s look like Mercedes in the 80s!
Picked up a m3lr a few weeks ago. No issues with the car at all. Everyone's experience will be different ofc but no issues here.
Picked up a MYLR back at the end of June. Zero issues.

hi just found this page. I ordered a MY on 2nd Aug. standard RWD black with black interior. Just been contacted to say car is ready to collect. Have heard anything from FI apart from initial uploading of documentation etc. Im assuming Im just being given one of the inventory cars. is there any way of finding this out as I see they are now offering 1500 off.
Hey there. Finance Ireland are really responsive so suggest using the contact form on their site stating your RN and delivery date.
Did you specifically choose from inventory or via custom order?

Slightly off topic, but is anyone getting their new tesla treated with ceramic coating, self healing ppf or anything. Wondering how much people are paying if so and how happy anyone is that got work done.
