He probably means on X and mot on Twitter as he was called before so really not that far back one can go. Of course I could be wrong and he could mean from anytime in the last decade in that case that's could be a lot of legals bills he could end up funding.
Be interesting to see how many take up his offer.
Because that's Twitter right now: flush with cash to spend on malcontents fired for what they think was prejudice over their shítty tweets (spoiler: it's never just about that one tweet, Chad) 🤷🙄
Does that include the staff Musk had sacked from twitter?
I'd say the offer is as serious as his other promises in relation to the application.
But in saying that he has spent a lot of time having accounts that share pedophilia, race supremacy and other views that violate the rules of the platform reinstalled.
It looks like not one poster on here thinks that the charges are politically motivated.
That tells me everything I need to know.
Maybe if someone made a cogent argument to that end based on more than snarky comments... Alas.
Well that's me convinced

"That tells me everything I need to know."
I think you'll find that's Fox News...
What does it tell you?
Does it tell you that we don't see it as political except that Trump is involved in politics? That these 3 indictments are clear crimes and should be tried in court.
Is it, in your view, possible in the US to have a non political trial of any politician?
Issues were found with some of Biden's handling and possession of classified documents. Biden complied with the investigators requests, complied with all requirements and that was it.
Issues were found with some of Pence's handling and possession of classified documents. Pence complied with the investigators requests, complied with all requirements and that was it.
Issues were found with some of Trump's handling and possession of classified documents. Trump stonewalled, delayed and obstructed investigators, ignored their requests, moved and concealed documents, all of which led to further investigations about his handling and possession of documents, leading to even more evidence of intentional wrongdoing and illegality, leading to even more obstruction by Trump, leading to a full investigation and subsequent charges and indictments.
That should be what tells you everything you need to know. Had Trump complied fully, the DOJ still bringing charges against him where they didn't with Biden or Pence would indeed constitute possible political motivations. But when you actually look at the actions of Trump and his cohorts, which are backed up by substantial evidence, testimony and in many cases Trump's own comments both publicly and privately (he's caught on tape), not bringing charges against him would be more political than not, because it would be saying that since he's a former President and is running again for election (which he wasn't at the time the investigations were taking place), that it makes him above the law.
There is clear and substantial evidence of illegality. The most apolitical thing to do is indict a person for illegal activity.
Think Trump will meet the real truth when Judge Chutkan invites him into her courtroom to explain the limits of her patience in relation to his interfering with the trial. That may happen this week.
That maybe just maybe it's you that's wrong?
Just for shíts and giggles, how would you make the distinction between a politically motivated prosecution and a regular criminal prosecution?
I would assume there is an element of political motivation at play but however either Trump made a cáll putting on pressure to find votes or he didn't.
I think the way the justice system interacts with the political system seems to need reform. It would seem to need a strong electoral commission to deal with these issues outside of the normal legal system
It is clear to anyone with a brain that Trump is not suitable for high office. Asking Mike pence not to validate the election is proof enough.
There is of course voter tampering in places by very dubious means on both sides but you don't go calling a state official telling them to find votes.
If I were a conspiracy theorist - and if I hadn't been behind the curtains and have some awareness of how it works - I could nearly conclude that Boards specifically employs a few people to post any old controversial guff just to keep other people posting.
I look at it this way. If someone else had done the same things as Trump would they have been indicted. If the answer to that is yes then it is not politically motivated. Not indicting him in these circumstances would be politically motivated.
47% of Americans think the charges against Trump are politically motivated according to that poll by ABC/IPSOS, not Fox News.
ABC is owned by Disney, it leans left.
47%.
Its not just me.
Yet 0% of posters on this thread have said its politically motivated.
That tells me all I need to know.
People who say, "Trump needs an unbiased jury!"
Like this?
And they go, "....bingo".
Don’t be so politically motivated.
Yep it tells you that other people read and understand facts
And that people outside of America aren't subjected to politically biased entertainment channels posing as "news".
One of the largest corporations in the world leans left apparently 😂
Almost a third of Americans still believe the 2020 election result was stolen, do you agree with them too?
Thank you for conceding you don’t think they are politically motivated either.
Navy Seals Vs. Gravy Seals
It would be worthwhile to look at illonois politics. I think about 3 goveners were charged with corruption.
It does seem the us political and justice system goes over board on cases at times. Look at investigation into Clinton about a BJ for **** sake.
I think the whole Russia probe into Trump proved pointless.
But as I said several times Trump should not have phoned election officials. End of story
Well, we've yet to hear a credible alternative to the accusation, and I'll happily entertain the idea when I do.
It tells me that only one person here has been blinded by nonsense conspiracy theories and lies. Which to me is a positive thing. Maybe not to you, though.
Seems to be the thinking around here...
