Trump will never spend a day in jail.
Its not happening.
Trump to be jailed.Wins election and pardons himself in jail. How about that? Any odds on that scenario?
Trump is a winner.
Rich, powerful, he was President of the US, the man achieved what people said he never would.
Obama laughed at him , said you will never be President, well how did that work out.
It will likely end in disgrace, but he wont go to jail.
Imagine Biden popped his clogs next year just before the election, could Trump become President again, its not an impossibility.
Could happen. Not the most likely of outcomes, imo, but we are living in a timeline where this possibility warrants consideration.
With a general election only 15 months away, what are the chances of these trials being concluded beforehand? If he runs and wins beforehand, game over. He'll just pardon himself and we're back in the dark ages of unaccountability.
Of course, him being convicted beforehand probably won't change anything - he can still run for presidency - nor will him running and losing again, should that be the result.
Also, assuming he gets convicted and fails to win the presidency (in whatever order), he's reportedly unlikely to face jail, so what then? He just carries on from mar a lago with an ankle braclet and a billion or so less than when he started?
It must be weird to be a Trump supporter now. Surely, on some level, they must know that all is not well in MAGAland. Their hero has been bankrupt multiple times, impeached twice and is a convicted rapist. There is no foundation here for things to improve.
He's done. Maybe he could cut a deal by agreeing to stay off social media to starve the MAGA squadron of its daily outrage and live the rest of his wretched existence in Mar-a-Lago supping Diet Coke and devouring McDonald's burgers.
Apparently answering straight forward questions isn't compulsory around here, so....
...
As I understand it Trump has 78 charges across 3 indictments, thats a career high stat of 0.038 IPC (Indictments per charge), or in more simple terms a seasons average of 26 CPI (Charges per indictment).
Does anybody have the stats on expected prison years per charge (XPpC)?
I know some people think stats don't hold any value but they do have their uses, especially when it comes to assessing the outcomes for convicted rapists.
Wow, how could anyone write this with a straight face?
If he is a “winner” what happened at the last election?
The biggest crowds, his people love him, etc
Trump is a winner ? lol
Only a loser would get indicted.
I think MAGA is around here:
So you've gone from centrist to hero worship... There's no indication that president Biden is remotely likely to face any criminal charges, all the Hunter Biden stuff hasn't implicated him in any way. Meanwhile Trump is facing 70+ federal charges. A lot can change in a week in politics but each week is getting worse for Trump. Meanwhile his fans misrepresent or downplay the seriousness of the charges. Also playing him up as a winner at this stage when we know him as a rapist, reminds me of the people who fawn over Andrew Tate. (Same group in fairness)
He certainly won in 2016, mostly due to a remarkable set of circumstances (a weak Democratic candidate plus that last-minute FBI intervention). Since then, he's lost the House, Senate, Presidency, been impeached twice along the way, and now been indicted 3 times, along with continually making an absolute fool of himself in pretty much every conceivable way. You can add his muiltiple legislative failures to that (failure to build the wall, failure to replace Obamacare even with a Republican-controlled Congress both come to mind.) I don't think that particularly makes him a winner myself.
How many “winners” have there been, whose own fans/defenders had to say “they probably won’t go to jail but their career will end in disgrace”.
I mean you might aswell defend Trump with insults at that stage.
-Trump is not the president America needs but the one it deserves
-Lots of stupid people enjoy how Trump uses small words
-But Trump has what plants crave. Brawndo
Possible but you also said that he wouldn't be convinced in the EJ Carroll case and that the various cases against him wouldn't get as far as any charges.
Appears you are winning as much as trump is.
Jesus the Trump fans featuring on Sky now remind me of that weird shanty town that formed outside Miracle in The Leftovers.
Covid and BLM happened, but for them Trump would be in the White House now.
It took a once in a lifetime pandemic to stop him, he got the highest votes ever for an incumbant President too despite losing.
Trump supporters are evidence that close family shouldn't procreate and that care in the community doesn't always work out
To paraphrase, it took him contributing to hundreds of thousands of needless deaths and emboldening racists to bring him down. I honestly thought covid would guarantee him a second term. He'd boost the spirits of the nation while taking counsel from one of the finest minds in the medical field.
Alas, even I underestimated Trump's stupidity and narcissism.
This is of course ignoring his failure to build the wall and make Mexico pay for it, stoking tensions in the middle east for no benefit whatsoever, handing Israeli intelligence to Vladimir Putin, terminating the Iran nuclear deal and negotiating the calamitous withdrawal from Afghanistan, resulting in a humanitarian catastrophe that conservatives would consider a utopia.
So a mishandling of the pandemic that cost millions of lives. Also it's ignoring the fact that the 2018 midterms were an absolute disaster for him. He was being viewed as toxic pre any pandemic.
Brilliant, it just wasn’t his fault at all, was it? 😂
I actually thought covid would save him. Usually in a crisis the public and even rival parties, galvanise around the leader.
I guess if your leader suggested that the solution to the crisis might be to inject yourself with bleach you’d kind of want to take a step back and ponder your options to be fair…
Yes he got the highest votes for an incumbant but conversely Biden got the highest votes ever.... also the pandemic didn't stop him his incompetent mishandling of it did.
TBF Trump did use the pandemic to kill off his own supporters.
It was a novel idea.
