He is a nice guy. He served his country and then fought a drug addiction, which the latter part anyone can relate to, even one or two of trumps kids.
Even then, following investigations into him, which Joe Biden didn't try to obstruct or convince political parties to try and have thrown out, Hunter is currently facing a trial after his plea deal was changed, which could also mean if it does go to full trial he could be facing jail time. Yet Joe Biden still isn't intervening it.
If only the former President had such respect for due process and the judicial system. Then again if he did, he probably wouldn't have broken the law in the first place.

I'd love to see him in a jumpsuit that matches his skin, but I doubt he'll ever see the inside of a prison cell. House arrest is the best that can be hoped for, and an internet gagging order for him and his demon spawn would be appreciated, and his phone and internet taken away and his visitors vetted.
The US is in a death spiral and has been for decades. If Trump sees justice it will either sink, which I think is the most likely scenario, or swim and finally deal with the human consequences of defunding education and allowing cults to proliferate, and importantly, the societal cost of end stage capitalism. As it stands, huge numbers are in the clutches of desperate poverty, religious cults, conspiracy cults, and hopeless substance addiction. It should serve as a warning, but Trumps success has fertilized the ground for wannabe tyrants all over the developed world and you only have to read some of the threads in this forum to see how well the astro turfing of extremist views is going.
There are claims that his dealings involved his Dad but we should try to suppress any such notion .
