It's as if they have past history or something
Did I read earlier that Medvedev is throwing around the nuclear threat again, if Ukraine is successful in driving the Russian military back towards the motherland. Has he a touch of Alzheimers and a memory problem?
I wouldn't fcuk with Poland. They are only itching to join the crazyiness..
Russians get clustered
I think it's only a matter of time before a Russian nuclear warhead explodes of it's own accord
But I'm laughing too loud ?
Drones are **** show, do you know that year and a half ago drone hit capital of NATO member country?
Let's see if the mollusc interferes with the starlink over ukraine this time
I don't have the military training or strategic mind to work this out but if Wagner clumsily provoke a reaction from Poland on the border with Belarus who's involved there?
Hypothetically there's an armed incursion by Wagnerites posing as Syrian refugees and Polish border forces have to push them back into Belarus.
Polish border forces end up over the border and are engaged by more Wagner forces, can they just try wipe them out?
Who would have thought it possible that China would ever see the day, when population reduction was the national target for many years! Now India is moving into the Nr 1 population slot. Strange times indeed.
Thats interesting. I could have sworn Francie earlier in the thread said they'd be keeping a close eye on this one. Presumably to update us on it. However since it seems like the Russian counter counter offensive is collapsing they've been quiet on the subject. I've little doubt that if the Russians had pushed the line forward another 5km they'd be the first one here to report it. And they'd be doing it with thinly veiled glee.
Russian channels saying Ukr are pushing even further forward. Heres hoping that theres some serious cracks showing and breakthroughs incoming.
Bridge in Crimea
Genetically modified mosquitoes are being sent to Russia to chew down the trees.
You're shifting the goalposts. Yes, it's been a disaster for Russia, and Ukraine and its allies have done a great job, albeit at huge cost to themselves also.
But it's still a long way from restoring pre Feb 22 borders, let alone retaking Crimea.
It would be but I don't think the Russians are smart enough to do that and they don't exactly have much credibility in the bank
Fallen trees caused the death of 8 people at a campsite in Russia
Did the Ukrainians plant them?
(sorry I've been waiting a long time to say that about something plant related)
Also, good news
Looks like the Ukranians played the UNO reverse card on the Russians
wonder what kind of plane
Edit: twitter link seems to be broken, footage of UAF shooting down a Russian jet with two parachutes seen
In that case you've already provided your own answer.
A Russian commander is punishing a group of Russian soldiers who developed addictions to alcohol during their duty on the frontlines
It would be a master coup if ,at some stage Putin was able to organize a false flag that broke the resolve of Ukraine's allies to support it sufficiently.
He must know that those governments are on a much tighter leash wrt their electorates, whereas his own has been inoculated against being coerced and deceived at this stage(there are limits of course that it would be pleasant to witness if they are breached ,although Putin's replacement may not be so pleasant)
...
Of course it's possible and there is history but the Ukrainians themselves, including Zelensky today, have pretty much confirmed they are behind it.
Interesting comments. Suggests the drone attacks are from Ukraine and not "false flag" episodes as tin hat brigade are claiming. And also suggests Ukraine is expecting the war to continue through at least another winter
Volodymyr Zelenskiy warned on Sunday that “war” was coming to Russia after three Ukrainian drones were downed over Moscow.
On a visit to the western city of Ivano-Frankivsk, the Ukrainian president said:
Gradually, the war is returning to the territory of Russia – to its symbolic centres and military bases, and this is an inevitable, natural and absolutely fair process.
“Ukraine is getting stronger,” he added, but warned that the country should prepare for new attacks on energy infrastructure in winter, Agence France-Presse reported.
“But we must be aware that, just as last year, Russian terrorists can still attack our energy sector and critical facilities this winter,” he said, adding that preparations for “all possible scenarios” were discussed in Ivano-Frankivsk.
You don't believe the Kremlin are willing and able to attack their own people on the pretext to blame someone else?
History says otherwise.
The precedent has already been set for people to believe it they'll do it again and again.
Russians are slow. They'll resort to past tactics. And believe it'll be different this time.
Putin also wants himself and family not to end up like the royal family. Defending home turf from these "terrorists" might just do that. It worked for the man before. The terrorist is Putin but vatniks don't want to know that.
Probably because the same people have been predicting the imminent collapse of Russian defences since May 2022. It's always just around the next corner, usually 2-6 weeks away
Maybe drones are harder to detect than missiles fired from a further distance.
A drone could be launched from within Moskow.
Even so I do wonder how effective the air defense systems are for the Capital.
Maybe they should keep a lookout for Chinese weather balloons ;-)
Surely the Russians should be worried if anything can hit Moscow ? If a drone can then what else ?
Just shows what drones can do for tanks. It literally gave the Russian commander of that tank eyes in the sky, told them what direction enemy was coming from, how many vehicles, what types, it told him no other enemies in the vicinity other then them. The Russian tank really went at the Ukrainians there and came back for more, he didn't let up. Watching the video the Ukrainian vehicles bunched up they were lucky nó Russian helicopter picking them off, saying that the Russian tank done some serious damage there. Looking at the Ukrainian vehicles I wonder was there special forces etc in them as you see in a lot of videos them using these to get around Russian positions and attack it fast. Or were they newer recruits going into action for 1st time. Or maybe they weren't expecting 1 Russian tank to keep coming back and attacking them the way it did.
The upshot is that Western society necessitates or allows for 2 income parental units - but said society remains predominantly configured for 1 income units. private childminding is a racket that's gouging families who need it to stay afloat, yet the government - here and the UK - will drag their feet from nationalising childcare.
