Vinyl is the only truly lossless format anything digital uses sample / bit rates so something has to be lost, you could hook a Bluetooth turntable up to the Tesla
I bought one of these for the Tesla, no complaints needed something in a hurry and from a local shop, I’m sure there last cheaper on Amazon etc if you have the time https://www.halfords.ie/motoring/tools/garage-equipment/tyre-inflators-and-pressure-gauges/michelin-digital-micro-tyre-inflator-798870.html
Any one on Amazon even 36 be enough to get you moving to a garage.
That would be sweet. The harsh ride might affect it though if I hook up one of the 1210’s in the boot somehow 😂
Came from a Model 3 with sensors to a Y without and don't notice much difference. Still get the distances on the screen etc...
I have a Halfords one (was a present) but doubt it was overly expensive and does the 42 no problem
I have a car with sensors and rear camera, still reversed into my wheelie bin the other day 😂
You were probably doing that deliberately to save getting out of the car. Especially if it was raining...🤣
Were you changing the record at the time? 😁
It caused a skipped beat alright 😂😂
I've noticed that the map directions glitch seems to be fixed. Now showing over to the right of the screen when a different app is open.
Also, you can also now move the blind spot view to 2 other places on the screen when the indicator is on. It doesn't have to be in the default top right position.
What version are you on?
Moving the blind spot view was there from conception. You could always move it.
Version 2023.26.1 is the one at the moment.
I’m still on 20.9
Are there different versions for the M3 and the MY, or is it the same on both?
Hi
Do we need to do anything specific with lights when heading to Spain. Have seen something out there but just wondering if Tesla auto converts?
Thanks
Directly from the manual:
"Headlights do not require adjustments when temporarily driving into a region where the traffic direction is different (for example, driving in right-hand traffic region, and then driving into a region with left-hand traffic)."
Perfect. Thanks a mill.
Don't believe that. I've been flashed hundreds of times from Belgium to Zagreb. The 2023 MY lights aren't flat and don't adjust automatically. We had to manually adjust them down a few clicks.
We were constantly flashed by trucks etc driving on French motorways at night. I wasn't sure if it was just that the Model Y full beams are mega bright or they were pointing the wrong way.
Due to leave car at the airport for 10 nights this weekend. Anybody here able to let me know how much battery I’ll use with and without sentry on? TIA
I left sentry mode on my MY RWD while on holidays in June and it lasted I think about 6 days. Once the battery gets to 20% sentry mode gets turned off. The car started on about 80% and my OH and I (foolishly) checked in on it probably once a day or more. Every time its checked, the car wakes up. We also had a look around with the exterior cameras a few times, further draining the battery. If you are leaving sentry mode on - don't do what we did!
Last time when I left my Model 3 for 10 days at airport, iirc used about 2 or 3% , Sentry off. Tried not to check car from app often.
0% over 3 weeks, sentry off, tesla app closed on both phones.
Sentry on, it will drain and stop working at 20%. Sentry off, it won’t drop a bit.
Thanks everyone for your help, reckon best bet is to leave it on (just cos I’m paranoid the one time I don’t it’ll get a scrape) and not check app. Cheers again
Another silly question but as the Y has no spare wheel , is it an instant fail for an SPSV test if someone wished to put the Y on the road for commercial purposes?
No. You need the usually safety kit and no harm having a 12v compressor and Amazon plug kit that will sort 90% of road side punctures (blow outs excluded of course).
Might be no harm to update the thread once you’re back and let us know how you got on.
I had a loaner M3, 2019 and it used 9% over night with sentry on.
