Will never happen, the hype around these big sales are great for Ticketmaster. Lots of people buying into it and getting tickets they probably wouldn't look for due to FOMO. A lot probably paying for enhanced tickets and more expensive tickets than they intend to as well just off the hype

Seems strange that they wouldn't add a fifth night, the demand exists, the band isnt booked anywhere else, the planning permission is there for it and the demand is clearly there

Better to have four sold-out shows with some additional demand rather than do five or six and just about fill it.

Made the queue for Friday at around 1,700. Got to the top of the queue around 10:15. Only platinum tickets left ......

What's in it for Ticketmaster? They don't need the extra hassle, they just need to sell out the gig.

And for us, it's still the same issue, not enough tickets for the amount that want to go. Ends up a draw for tickets regardless of how you do it.

Does anyone know what the agreement is with Croke Park? Would they even be allowed to add a 5th date the following weekend? I'm assuming these 4 dates are it.

After no luck in both presales I opened 4 tabs, one for each night. Was over 20k for three nights but somehow 906 for Sunday. Got in about 10.10 looking for 3 tickets but none available. Kept hitting "search again" for about 5 mins and was eventually offered 3 Upper Hogan in 734. Daughter delighted.

Was 3.5k in the queue for Thursday, nothing left.

For anyone complaining about ticketmaster, vent towards MCD the promotor, they decide the split between sales.

Huge amount must have gone in the coldplay pre sale which is pretty wrong, but seems to happen for nearly every event now whereby presale gets the majority of tickets
