A bit about the Gorn war maybe.

Edit: Nope nothing to do with the Gorn War its do to with the Klingon War.

A hard watch. We learn some more about Joseph and Nurse Chapels past and Ortegas a little bit too although it is still not clear if she was actually there or not.

What could have been do except for that ending. Could the Federation and the Klingons have become allies sooner?

I loved the design of the ship at the beginning of this episode although except for the deflector I though it looked a bit too modern more like a ship from the 24th or 25th Century's than the 23rd.

Did anyone else think the very specific build up to the ambassador at the star twas gonna lead to it being Tyler or some equally stupid Disco character.

He didn't kill his own.

M'Benga killed them with M'Benga's knife and it was he who kept it all along.

The Klingon killed no Klingons which was very clearly established.

Loved the episode except for the ending which I thought was a bit too much to have M'Benga kill him.

Like I said, I enjoyed the ep. But there is no reason the knife Rah supposedly used to kill his own would be onboard unless Rah brought it onboard when he transported in?

I don't really care, it just seems a bit sloppy.

That’s all we know [ which is not much ] on Dak’Rah for now, and with his death it doesn’t look like we’ll be getting any more information at any point soon.

Really good ep, but the knife thing was a bit weird. Like, are we supposed to think he transported aboard with the knife on him?

Thought a great episode, can see where the seasons budget went but his teeth were a bit too perfect for a Klingon

Can't believe people think this was a good episode. For me it was too dark for star Trek. I found it quite a drag to watch. Certainly not one I will be watching again anytime soon. But then I loved the last episode.

Fantastic episode. Thought the conclusion was a bit rushed, but really good back story aout Mbenga and Chapel.

Took me ages to work out who the Klingon was, thought it was Tony Todd but realised it was Hamsterdam from the Wire!

Yes that is because it is not Captain Kirk. It's Pike and his crew. So what Pike likes cooking. Nothing wrong with that. I doubt he spends all his time cooking just meal times.

I think this series is abysmal , I've stopped watching it. Nowhere like the old captain kirk ones. Pike spends all his tie cooking...well for some...

This season has been mostly filling in the backgrounds of the characters.

Musical next week, and then we just have the final left.

That was dark, to a degree that only DS9 has tried before. But where DS9 was still clear on who did what, this remains ambiguous, both in terms of the ambassadors death and whether it was worth exposing him.

They still managed to give most of the cast a little time and insight, despite it being by it's nature Chapel/M'benge focussed.

Some heavy elements of MASH in the Chagall scenes, and nice to see Clint Howard turning up.
