Whatever you say about Trump, he's done a really good job of convincing the mentally deranged that he is the answer to all of their problems.

Confirmed as a rapist is the latest.
Any thoughts on that?
The judge confirmed Donald Trump as a rapist yesterday when dismissing his appeal for the Carroll case where he raped her.
All over the papers and news in the last few days that Trump was confirmed as a rapist from the Carroll trial.
Isn't trump an awful piece of sh!t?
Imagine being someone who would vote for a confirmed rapist.
Your opinion on anything would mean nothing at all and everyone could continually mock you for voting for the rapist donald trump.
Wecome "new" poster 😉😀😁

They did not find him guilty of sexual abuse. They found him civilly liable for the NY penal code definition of sexual assault, which the judge clarified in his order denying Trump's motion for a retrial that by the contemporary definitions for rape, Trump indeed raped E Jean Carroll given the facts determined at trial.
Republicans are mightily in trouble nationally if they quintuple down on their support of known rapist Donald John Trump.
And here's no paywall so there's no dithering about that:
Well if we've learned anything here in Ireland "god fearing" does overlap with questionable "sexual exploits".
Trump knows his base.
"He is still very popular here in Rockingham New Hampshire among us God fearing folk worried about where our country is going."
Trump lost Rockingham County in 2020...
You can gauge from the third party votes too, they really pinched their nose voting for a 2nd GHWB term and weren't that mad about Trump either. Hard to see how being a known rapist is going to turn that around.
What does any of that statement actually mean?
"I'm anti establishment."
Trump is part of the establishment. He's a supposed billionaire trying his best to stay one step ahead of the rapidly approaching lifetime of consequences for his actions. He's hoping his "political" ambitions will keep the wolves at bay for a little while longer.
"God fearing folk worried where our country is going". Why bring your religious beliefs into it? Trump is not a religious man unless you count his childish attempts at conning the gullible that he is. Even if you somehow believe he is religious and aligns with whatever your religious beliefs are; how do you stack up whatever your religion says about the way you should act and the way Trump has acted all his life. Also where is your country going? You do realise that time matches on and nothing ever stays the same? There is no standing still. Do you mean economically, socially; in education; morality; international relations etc? When you figure out what you mean by that, how will trump help you with your fears given he'll literally do and say anything to stay in power; often contradicting himself. How can you have any faith in such an obvious conman? It's baffling.
I'm not sure if I'm anti-establishment.
I am however, anti-rapist.
Voting for a soon-to-be-criminal, twice impeached, confirmed sex pest does not make you anti-establishment. It makes you anti-decency and anti-law and order. Which hardly fits into the "God-fearing" bracket, in my humble opinion.
Well that will just about be the end of RFK as a spoiler vote
The entire hearing (yeah, for some reason, Jim Jordan thought this needed to be a hearing) was a farce:
Trump was asked about the possibility of him being on his ticket as VP.
He didn't dismiss the idea.
Trump very rarely dismisses any idea. He will avoid making anything definitive as that would risk him being wrong and losing some support. He is great at avoiding anything definitive and thus everyone can believe that he is on their side.
The only time he makes any decision is when there is no time left and he is forced into it.
Looks like the charge in Fulton County will be racketeering;
What's constantly hilarious to hear are trump clowns uttering the words "I'm anti-establishment", while at the same time supporting a man who is CLEARLY part of the establishment.
Never fails to being a laugh out of me.
I was hoping March, but I'll take May
No way it happens in May. The election will be underway, if not technically then effectively. That is a win for Trump as this moves the possibility of a complete postponement a massive step further.
The case has been put back a full year from when it was originally scheduled.
which gives ample time to get clearance for all lawyers, consider discovery, file pre-hearing motions and appeals of those orders.
Any sooner and it would be inevitably adjourned to deal with the above.
Plus - He won't get that accommodation from Smith in DC or in Georgia.
The Documents case may be the least of his concerns by the time next May rolls around.
Looking like Georgia are going to go as broadly as possible after Trump. It will likely be an effort at RICO and even with trying to step back from my own anti-Trump bias?
I don't see how he beats it. The preponderance of evidence in the public domain is damning.
Georgia's RICO statute is very broad and all manner of criminal activity can fall within its remit if conspiracy can be proven.
History shows us that no matter what time you give Trump will always ask for more. This is 100% a victory for Trump. Yes, he has other cases to worry about, but he can effectively park this until after the election. No way the judge will hold it so close.
A structured timeline looks good?
One less case for 45 to deal with....
Scaramucci speculating Trump will try to cut a deal. Withdrawing from 24 race in an exchange for avoiding prison.
Not an outcome I want. I firmly believe that it is vital for the stability of US institutions and politics that Trump is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, that if found guilty? He is punished appropriately.
The notion that the man or indeed the office of POTUS is afforded a different flavour of justice? Cannot be reconciled with "All men are created equal"
Justice needs to be seen to be done and even if that results in acquittal? It must run its course.
Another settlement for "I Never Settle" Trump
The clowns wouldn't be too happy about that.
Absolutely. "I won't run for President" is not an offer worth granting a deal for, and if anything, it makes the entire investigation look entirely political, like it was done to just find enough to make Trump drop out of the race.
The most a deal should grant him at this stage is house arrest.
It would also set a precedent, commit a crime and then declare yourself a presidential candidate to get off the charges. A whole can a worms that opens.
