This isn't like when they add an extra date after earlier ones have sold out and then bounce you straight into the new one while you're looking for tickets for the initial shows.
Joined the waiting room at 10.30 on the button (not sure if it made any difference or not) and was luckily assigned 3517 in the queue. Got 4 good enough seated tickets at €126 each by 11.20. Still can’t believe it. Teenage daughter over the moon.
After an hour of queuing the cheapest ticket on offer was €300. Surely they won’t sell all of the stupidly priced VIP tickets and some of these seats will have to be released as cheaper options.
Well maybe my frustration should be directed at whoever decided on the ticket allocation for general sales. Taylor Swift mostly I suppose. No wonder she is making a billion dollars from the global tour, fleecing her young fans with outrageous prices. If you cant get a ticked being 5500 in the queue there is something wrong.
Even if they sell only half of the VIP tickets, with the inflated price of them, there's more money being generated than selling them at the cheaper normal price.

She's only fleecing people who are prepared to pay that money!

Well known scam btw, those people do not have tickets at all they'll direct gullibles to PayPal and make an excuse to put payment on friends and family and gladly accept any money you send their way.
As I said previously alot of tickets were sold last week.
There are thousands of VIP tickets. 5-7k possibly based on other venues.
Remove what was sold last week and VIP and you are left with not much.
Everyone is going to buy 4 tickets with their codes.
The queue numbers for Dublin are ridiculous, in the UK the max numbers this week were 5-10k, MCD have obviously decided not to take any chances this time.
Give loads of people a code and they will buy up all the VIP offerings.
Id say if you dont get a queue number under 4k just forget about it, you arent going to get anything.
My daughter was sitting here with a picture of Taylor Swift, with a candle in front of it, praying that she could get a ticket. That is who is suffering here because of greed. Her and all the other fans who cant afford VIP packages.
Lets be honest that's not true. She is selling the dream of being able to go to her concert to mainly young teenage girls who will never be able to afford the ridiculous money for tickets. She markets directly to that audience and goes on about saying how much her fans mean to her. Shame on her for having so called VIP tickets that only the privileged can afford. Fine have VIP tickets but 90% of tickets should be standard pricing

There's two more dates yet to be released for presale. Keep at it and you'll get something hopefully.
I managed to get nose bleed west stand tickets 86e , I was 11k in queue (30min wait) and once in had to search with registered ticket option and all stands chosen. Refreshed the search many times and got lucky.

Same as before the waiting room won't go live till about 12.40 DON'T refresh or click the button more than once as it will automatically put you in there once you have the page open

As much as I love my kids not a chance I'd shell out €1,500 for 4 of the cheapest VIP tickets, especially for what are upper tier tickets.
