Even if they sell only half of the VIP tickets, with the inflated price of them, there's more money being generated than selling them at the cheaper normal price.
Well maybe my frustration should be directed at whoever decided on the ticket allocation for general sales. Taylor Swift mostly I suppose. No wonder she is making a billion dollars from the global tour, fleecing her young fans with outrageous prices. If you cant get a ticked being 5500 in the queue there is something wrong.
After an hour of queuing the cheapest ticket on offer was €300. Surely they won’t sell all of the stupidly priced VIP tickets and some of these seats will have to be released as cheaper options.
Joined the waiting room at 10.30 on the button (not sure if it made any difference or not) and was luckily assigned 3517 in the queue. Got 4 good enough seated tickets at €126 each by 11.20. Still can’t believe it. Teenage daughter over the moon.
They're three separate listings, so I very much doubt it.
This isn't like when they add an extra date after earlier ones have sold out and then bounce you straight into the new one while you're looking for tickets for the initial shows.
Ticket company sells all available tickets without website crashing is far from a shambles.

The cheapest VIP tickets are in the upper tier, same as normal tickets. You just get a "package" of merchandise.
How is it ticketmasters fault? Demand far outpaces supply. Realistically what more could they do? They are just there to sell tickets on behalf of artists at whatever price the artist sets!

Got in to just take a look at the VIP packages. Wow, can't imagine paying 1400+ for two tickets just for a few postcards and a lanyard.
Just curious are they even good seats for that price?
Got in and got 2 of the packages, the cheapest one there. Feel ill paying it but wife is a huge fan so just pulled the trigger.
Did anyone here actually get tickets? Queue was at 27k when I got in, joined the waiting room around 10:45/10:50. Nothing for left by the time I got to the top of the q.
I was well out. My friends daughter joined the queue at 5,500 and everything but VIP was sold out when she got to the top.
Got in to the lobby as soon as possible this morning. In the "queue" since 11, still 10409 in front of me😳
at 11.45 cheapest ticket was 371

This is going to take the whole day isn’t it. And still likely to have no joy at the end. Like who wants to pay €600 for a ticket? If the prices were at least reasonable then maybe everyone could have a fair shot but to be queuing for a ticket all day and then your only options left are for tickets €600 and up is a joke. I like Taylor but if she loves her fans as much as she claims she wouldn’t do this

At 4k now and will just let it load just to look and shake my head at the VIP package prices.
Croke Park was 66,000 in 2018, because the pitch was mainly seated, other than the Snake Pit at the foot of the main stage.
How much does the venue hold? 51k. Might be a bit more since she has tickets kinda behind the stage so maybe 53 - 55k. So it’s a big drop from Croke Park’s 82k.

Waiting room only opens 30mins before sale.
When you load the page and click Join Waiting Room, you might have to wait a few mins before it allows you in. Don't click it repeatedly or refresh the page or you'll just be resetting the process.
If you've bought four, then you won't be able to buy more. If you bought two, you'll be able to get two more.
