It's all just noise. If they were going to be used to great effect, we would already have seen ukraines defenses being hammered by them as Russia has been using them all along.
Any difference they make will most likely be too small to quantify and not the great breakthrough that is being waited on.

That makes no sense to ship them over to be taken apart for using on drones. They could give them plenty other things for that purpose without taking all the heat from other countries. They are getting them because of the shortage of standard 155 shells.

Ya I'd agree with you they look to me to be a huge addition to the Ukraine army ethe fact that the Russian are squawking is as good a pointer as any that they will be effective . I'd does appear they will be effective in clearing mined also

Turkey has been supplying them for months. So once again just noise. Expect very little to change
Mine fields are a big problem at the moment anything that clears a mine field in quick order will be useful
It would be to wasteful. They'll be used against troops and equipment. The US and UK have better systems for clearing a path through minefields but I haven't heard of Ukraine getting them yet

They have rollers, ploughs and charge lines. Not much more that could be supplied and none are going to give great results when drones, air defence and artillery can stop them clearing before they make much progress.

The Russians also use these apps to their advantage. When they bombed buildings in western Ukraine early in the war targeting phones that had been tracked near the SAS base in the UK

The nytimes ran an article about the fictional support by the US for a 2 state solution to Palestine. One would have hoped that Ukraine under an assault and occupation by a third party would have had more empathy for other occupied states.

Zelensky is not in a position to be picky about support. It's critical for the survival of the country.
Hungary has slanted itself significantly towards Russia, Ukraine is the polar opposite of that, so that comparison makes no sense.
Ukrainians have every right to apply to join the EU, they've spilt more blood than any of us to go in that direction.

They are fighting for the survival of their families and their nation, they don't have the luxury of selective concerns about other world situations. Of which there are many around the globe. If North Korea offered them a million shells, they'd take the offer pretty fast.
I think this is what Netanyahu wants, it takes the focus off his previous actions , stirs up right wing sentiment and allows him to quietly carry out other activities more important to him in the background.
And Netanyahu is much more concerned about what goes on in Iran and Syria than if Ukraine is flattened.
It might help them bring more Jewish people back to Israel which is one of his ambitions.
We dont want countries that ignore the abuses of other countries for their short term gains anywhere near the EU.

Ukraine is facing invasion. They aren't just fighting for their lives and their families, they are fighting for their future, their culture, their national identity, their language, democracy, freedom - all of which stands to be erased under Russian Soviet occupation. If some country, any country, wants to offer them assistance, they don't have the armchair internet luxury position of being "picky" about it.
Likewise, if Ireland were being invaded by Russia tomorrow and your family, friends, colleagues were being blown to bits, you'd take help from anywhere.
After the dust settles, or perhaps before, it's very likely Ukraine will be admitted to the EU. They have done more than any country to deserve it and it's the least that can be done for a European country that has been through what they've been through.
Ukraine aren't doing anything to justify being in the EU. Fighting Russia has nothing to do with the EU.
They were never going to try to invade the Eu anyway.
Israel is on a par with Russia but it would cost very little to sanction Israel.
America clearly doesn't support countries to uphold democracy and the rules based order. It's because it suits them strategically, nothing more.
The invasion is related. Putin does not want Ukraine, which he sees as a province, joining the EU. He has gone to great lengths over the years to punish Ukraine for leaning towards the EU and the West.
Ukraine was granted EU candidate status last year, as mentioned, when/if the dust settles, it's likely the country will be accepted into the EU.
Whatever is going on in Ukraine is between Russia and Ukraine. They are not doing any of this for us in the EU.
"It's just a Hitler, Poland thing". Washing your hands and pretending it's just "some thing" between Ukraine and Russia doesn't cut it. Putin has serious designs for Europe.
We joined the EU for ourselves. Likewise Ukraine has been seeking to join the EU for the same reasons we did. The fact that they are spilling so much blood for the opportunity to join will probably stand well for them in their membership bid.
Nonsense, there isn't the strength in Russia to have realistic ambitions of invading EU countries.
They would need to use many multiples of what Ukraine has taken and we are told that they are under severe pressure to field men and weapons as it is.
Don't think putin wanted to invade the eu, he wanted to have influence on it. He has changed a lot in the EU in the last few years.

If Ukraine had capitulated, we would have an ultra aggressive Putin right up against a hair-trigger Poland, many millions more refugees pouring into Europe. With Transnistria and Moldova next on the chopping block. Leaks have shown his 10 year timeline to absorb Belarus.
To say Europe is thankful for Ukrainians spilling their blood to destroy Putin's war machine and stop him encroaching further on the continent is an understatement. Like a majority of Europeans I strongly support Ukraine joining the EU.
