Even so, if that's all he gets, he will still be a very lucky man!!!
It is the Russian Berserko - B1a missile. So called because it goes berserk before it makes up its mind what to do.
What's the word for calibration in Russian
What is all the smoke on the ground before the missile takes off?
(We are looking at a missile on the ground targeting a Ukrainian drone which is filming all this?)
btw how long is that SAM missile? ( a metre?) How expensive, how many does Russia have?
He got a woeful smack on the head. Can't have done him any good.
Still frame from the video linked few pages ago (https://twitter.com/NovedadDeFrente/status/1679752802984132608?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1679752802984132608%7Ctwgr%5E4152ef61a35eb86136212f53cf06ce3f1c6f9095%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.boards.ie%2Fdiscussion%2F2058195983%2Frussia-threadbanned-users-in-op%2Fp3263):
I don't know anymore.
You and me both so.
Hmm maybe idk, could be a host thing too, maybe its something imgur does or the users upload video files to be presented as GIFs, I don't know anymore.
Does it being a gif cause issues? I'm not familiar with show controls.
thanks, "show controls" wasn't working for boards like it does for reddit.
Poor drone **** itself, in whatever way drones **** themselves.
Best I can do
wish i could get a stillframe of that near miss.
Russian SAM and Ukrainian drone.
Not all that clear on any grain deal.
Another goodwill gesture from Russia /s
Would be hillarious if for example, they sent out that new warship on its first patrol…and got torpedoed to the sea floor by Ukraine mere hours later.
Zyklon indeed…may it’s hull be destined for the scrap heap, or be turned into something more useful like Coke cans.
Wrong thread ????
. Wrong thread
I hope do they try move a big warship through the network and someone blows it up in tight and hard to reach stretch of canal
There are various versions of past and future and six different grammatical cases, including gendered endings for adjectives (I can speak the language too). Also an insanely large amount of prefixes that slightly modify the meaning of words. Russian is a complex language, albeit one that functions different to Western European languages, so you're talking nonsense as usual because in your head every single Russian thing has to be primitive and backwards and never let facts get in the way of ideology
There's more than one way into the Black Sea. For example, a ship such as the new Zyklon is able to use the Russian UDWS to get around from the Baltic or Arctic to the Black or Caspian sea without leaving Russian waters. The UDWS does have a size limit, it's not exactly the Suez Canal system, but smaller combatants can manage it.
Trivia note. When Azerbaijan received a cutter from the US Coast Guard (ex USCG Point Brower), it had to be reflagged as a Russian ship for the transit as only Russian ships are allowed use the system.
Because they think they are living in 1939 only this time they are the "Wehrmacht".
It's like a child calling shotgun on the front passenger seat of a car. Or someone playing a computer game and picking a predefined side. Fanboys. Nazi fanboys.
A Russian UMPK "JDAM-ERski" gliding bomb has been found using Irish Taoglas GNSS antennas
Was his lucky day.. the shell hit the tree, not him. I wonder how he got on since? Did his luck hold???
Wagner is the nickname of the military head of the Wagner group, Col. Dmitry Utkin, who is a real Nazi:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dmitry_Utkin :
According to several news outlets, Utkin is an admirer of Nazi Germany and has multiple Nazi tattoos, including Schutzstaffel (SS) insignia.[10][11][12][13][14] Utkin reportedly called himself Wagner after German composer Richard Wagner, because his work was greatly admired by Adolf Hitler and was appropriated by the Nazis.[3][15][16]
Why is the Wagner group called that name??
Wagner is a German composer admired by Hitler.
why would a Russian private military company use that name???
it’s strange
1,000,000
Saw a longer video of that. He gets up and runs, apparently unhurt.
Video posted on social media claiming to show a tree in Ukraine helping to turn moskovytes into fertiliser:
Unfortunately, this time, it's a case of adding 2+2 and getting 243 as a result. The word Tsiklon or Zyklon (spelled exactly the same in German, wonder where Russian borrowed that term from?) simply means Cyclone, a type of storm. While there is a certain uncanny resemblance to Zyklon-B (Which was above all a brand name, not a chemical designation), it really does seem unintended and accidental, given that many other ships of the Karakurt class of corvettes, the class that RFS Tsiklon is a member of, originally carried similar names. The lead ship of the class was originally named Uragan, meaning hurricane, whilst other ships carried names such as Taifun (Typhoon), Shkval (Squall) or Passat (Trade Wind).
There's no doubt about the neofascist streak (to put it mildly) running through Russia these days, and I'm certainly not one to advocate for negotiations or "compromise" with them, as you simply can't compromise with that type of regime. However, not every resemblance means intention. In fact, I doubt a lot of the Russian admiralty would even be able to make the connection, Russian high command hasn't exactly been preceptive recently.
