Not really no. Against who being the obvious question, but beyond that they would now have all the gametime in the warmups without Sexton.
Banned or not for a couple of RWC games, I don't see Sexton lasting the tournament. So if there are extra games I'd hope the incumbents Byrne and Crowley get the most of the game-time. Frawley, has he actually had a lot of time at 10?

I think Sexton is facing quite a hefty sanction and they want to take the time to draft the judgement carefully because they know legal challenges will follow.
The worst case scenario for the EPCR would be that their decision gets overturned because of a procedural error or imprecise language in the ruling

World Rugby have selected 12 referees for the upcoming World Cup in France. Jaco Peyper is one of them, he’s one of the 12 best referees in the world. He’s partial to a spell of favouring one team over the other in games as they get on top but over the course of 80 minutes the best team always wins in a usually entertaining match whenever I’ve seen Peyper ref in the last twelve months.
I'm guessing that graph doesn't take into account the games against the Maori ABS and the All Blacks XV.
The chart is about international tests, not exhibition games.
He consistently is at the heart of controversies on the pitch, and has repeatedly shown a dereliction to player safety. He's abysmal and has been for years. Being selected to ref at the WC is no indication of quality. Holly Davidson for example, despite having ref'd a WC final, didn't make it .
The chart is a huge praise for the Irish rugby system and the way the irfu are able to manage players minutes, resulting in them being available for the biggest games

Its also just heavily impacted by the cut-off time (which is completely arbitrary). Ultimately the only summer tour we had in that period was to NZ which necessitated strong teams, but obviously the matches against NZ Maori were used for squad development but not reflected here.
Our figures are also not wildly dissimilar to France (who toured Japan in their summer series!).
The referee assessors clearly beg to differ after reviewing every decision and non-decision.

What do you expect? They are hardly going to publicly list everything they think refs did right and wrong.
Its as transparent as coaches selecting their teams.
Why shouldn't they? Is there a downside to this? The refs are professionals, in a position that massive impacts the outcome of games.

So games against the likes of Italy and Fiji count, but games against the Maori All Blacks and All Blacks XV (NZ 2nd team) don't? Right.

Yes, there are massive downsides to it. All it would do is reduce, or even eliminate, the integrity of results. You'd have fans braying for replays constantly. It would also undermine confidence in the refs themselves. Also you'd end up with no refs.

starting at the rugby championship of 2021 was a very arbitrary starting point in my opinion, and resulted in some teams being assessed over 18 games while other were at 25 games.
surely starting at the 6 nations in 2021 would have made more sense and would have been a tighter margin between most and fewest games.
had they done that im sure the irish number of 70% minutes would have dropped because youd be including players like CJ Stander, Robbie Henshaw, Keith Earls and Will Connors who were big consumers of minutes during that campaign.
but anyway, the stats can be viewed as extremely favourable or extremely worrying depending on your agenda.
I was looking at them on my phone so really only looked at the tweet than the stats but as with all stats one can use them to help you agree or disagree with your set agenda.
