Yet, RTE instructed him to invoice for consultancy fees through a British barter account that in turn charged RTE for the service. As NK didn't answer when asked if he charged a fee for this we can assume he added his standard commission to the total owed.
Why did NK raise an invoice at all when this was apparently between Renault and RTE? Why didn't the invoice reflect what was being charged for, and why didn't he send it directly to RTE?
Answer: He just did as RTE instructed to hide the fact that Tubs was earning more than declared.

His lack of respect for the PAC meeting and the carry on yesterday was an example of the distain the guy has for the Irish public. He thinks a couple of rehearsed comments written by someone else and people will lap it up.
He shouldn't have fooled the people of Ireland while taking back payments in the grubby manner he did, taking tax payers money which he had no problem keeping till this blew up.
I personally see no reason why anyone would attack him on the street or why he would be afraid to go out of the house. If anyone did go up to him and I was in the area I would stop them very quickly and tell them to cop on.
In terms of Tubs his credibility is ruined and in my opinion he should be dumped now from RTE because I want RTE to continue. Otherwise we will see mass non payment of tv license. RTE is a lot bigger than Tubs so let him off, if he is such a great presenter then he will be snapped up tomorrow. Let everyone go on their way and RTE to reform.

RTE should have disclosed the corporate arrangement and identified it as a seperate contract in the earnings statement. RTE should have been hiding nothing and shouldn't have been using a very exspensive barter exchange for payments.

The first payment was from Renault, but they got a credit note for advertising to the same value (75k).
They pulled out after 1 year and NK sent the invoices. If the deal had nothing to do with him why was he involved and why did he ask RTE to guarantee it if the sponsor pulled out?
Carlin was much more than a comedian!!
Leo Varadkar and Michael Martin. Not a great example as they're recognisable because they're politicians so can't be called celebrities.

He'll be back on RTE. He showed his respect for PAC by volunteering to show up and explain exactly as I had suggested last week.

RTE falsely declared RT;s earnings in the statements.
RTE used dodgy back channels to fufill a contract for a deal they conjured up.
If that's not all true. I'm sure we'll hear from RTE what really happened. :)
