Not a good look. I wonder did he go because this was going to come to light?

Kelly was constantly repeating that RTE was a very, very big player - budget €350m - and he is only a tiny company with 8 employed. Nobody pulled him up on this point re it’s relevance. Was he trying to waist more time, deflect or trying to prove that he had on influence in RTE because of the major disparity. It was laughable because (
a) he has a number of companies - one being registered in England, (
b) he has staff in a number of countries
( c) his companies provide a wide range of services
(d) has worked with Google, RTE, virgin media, Newstalk , Today FM, Toyota, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.
(e)he has a STABLE of talent and can use them to play off one company against another especially with regards to salary and conditions.
SO, I AM ONLY A SMALL COMPANY - HOWAREcYOU
Lets see how Kielty does. My guess is similar viewing numbers. As will Callan have in the morning.
The only ones who will tell me no fraud has taken place are Revenue and CAB after they investigate all parties involved
If any mere mortal small business owner came out with that cr@p today on national television they would be getting a visit by the end of the week
Callan won’t get the gig. He’s red raw useless.
Yeah I watched it live- she didn’t give them an inch - she highlighted their own words back to them- they had nowhere to turn - pity she ran out of time- it just shows that the statements around paycuts are built on quicksand - it’s funny how on one hand, you can use accounting techniques to state a pay cut on one hand whilst ignoring other “arrangements” let’s say, some might call them seperate contracts, where increases in monies paid are to be found- it’s important to note that the “Renault work” was essentially an offline version of TLLS , for staff and whatnot of that industry. They should have just made a statement such as “ Whilst the contracts were seperate, it’s now recognised that in “spirit” people may feel these additional arrangements are inextricably intertwined to Ryan’s role as TLLS. host.
Absolutely! One guy failed as a leader of Labour who's ratings were so low that they could only go in one direction, up, under him they went down! Another, Mattie, left Fianna fail on a point of principle. The principle being that they weren't going to select him as a candidate! Then we have the ex Louth football manager who after delivering his rehearsed few lines of outrage morphed into the Bird O'Donnell character who thought he was going to be caught for his fiver bid on the field! Dillon came accross OK until one remembered his non sensical people pleasing call for free gaago for rural Ireland.
That's brilliant and sums it up concisely.
Hogwash, Callan is a breath of fresh air compared to Tubsidy.
NK did 'The Davy Fitz' Defence. Combined with the Nuremberg. 2:25 in.
Michael Collins popped into my head when it was said earlier on.
Brolly is just sour because his contrarian pundit thing became very tiresome very quickly and RTE correctly made the decision to get rid of him. He now goes round looking permanently constipated trying to flog his flop of a podcast.
One of Ireland’s great bores.
Are those boys not your public representatives Dan? Your county men. And Lowry?
I agree with that.
Lot of Tubridy supporters here today that were not here last week.
One question we have to ask is this.
If you were in a dispute with your employer and said all your troubles are because of your employer, why the fook would you want to go back and work for said employer who is the cause of your troubles?
I know I wouldn't.
Edit
just sour because his contrarian pundit thing became very tiresome very quickly
Such irony.
Tubs' sense of self-importance knows no bounds.
There is absolutely no way Ryan did not learn from the mistakes Gay Byrne made in trusting his accountant entirely
They were biding their time and waiting for RT and NK's appearance today at the two committees.
The Tonight Show analysis is very good. Not for the 2 clowns answering questions today though.
Great analysis now on Tonight Show on Virgin Media.
As the Unionists used say 'they have rallied their strength'. William Craig 1972, Ulster's El Alamein.
Yes, I picked up on him having a big ego today - almost a touch of Alan Partridge about him.
I haven't read the full thread, but why did not a single politician know to question NK on his claims about the number of his clients on his book who are contracted to RTE?
Yeah she was good. I said it when watching it live about Noel Kelly making a odd face and it’s in this video and I’m not sure if it’s indignation at being asked hard questions or a look of “oh balls this won’t be good.”
Lowry has more brains and nous than the whole committee put together!
So I've read the 2k+ posts since this morning and no one mentioned the green tie, we're Irish and all in this together
For heading to half a million a year I'd take a lot of shite.
Yeah... but who's yer one in the red scarf...
