If Tubridy had confidence that he could make a go of it in the UK, he'd already have been gone. He wouldn't have let loyalty to RTE get in his way, and it's clear enough from today's hearing that he doesn't hate a good payday.

I fail to understand this RT burnout claim especially during the Covid period . He knew the process re organising the LLS for years before that So a bit of tweaking here and there to make it Covid ‘ compliant’ should not have been a big deal. And he had not to work at the FRONT LINE like eg the nurses/ doctors, etc and where some passed away as a result. We all had to work harder/ smarter because of coved . So what did RT have to do that was away and beyond what the rest of us had to do ?
Even NK gave in on this one acknowledging that others will possibly bring in similar numbers.
Seeing as you are throwing the spotlight on RT and NK, try throwing a spotlight on the PAC members asking stupid questions and wasting time themselves. Just one example below.

You might have missed the words of the chair towards the end - she stated something like she was aligning with all that one of the deputy’s said earlier- that deputy ( can’t remember name sorry) essentially said that they were all there today to try and work together to work through all of the issues but he stated that he didn’t feel they had done so in any way today.- or words very close to that effect- someone might have the exact wording.
The report from this group won’t be kind to these two - most definitely wont be kind .
In the first session they let them away with the waffling answers and not answering the question. They copped on later on and kept pulling them up asking them to answer the question

I think Tubridy and Kelly came across as absolute entitled clowns today. Tubridy was especially nauseating going on like he's a hero to kids of the country and they need him. The man is full on deluded about his standing in our society. NK for his part knew well the dodgy **** RTE exec were up too and he exploited that to maximum effect. They are just two people who took full advantage of a silly pack of clowns running the show.
Ultimately, for me the blame lies with the Executive committee and the Board of directors. GOL RC DF MD BOK amongst others are the most at fault for abdicating in their Corporate Governance responsibilities letting it become a wild west of all sorts of shenanigans and bringing the entire organisation into disrepute.
For me the book stops at the board and there needs to be serious charges brought. The full extent of barter accounts spending needs to be absolutely brought to the floor. What was spent and who spent it. RTE was a rudderless ship creaming the taxpayer.
