It should be noted that having people employed as contractors saves huge amounts in pension liabilities.
I think it shows lack of self awareness as that wasn’t the place as his credibility was to do with his radio and TV work.

Well I didn't vote for the current president who swore he was only going to be there for one term!
Nope.. just comes across as condescending and insulting the intelligence of the committee, viewers and general public.
He's a light entertainer. His whole career is built on coming across as sincere and believable. He has had plenty of practise with the regular LLS misery slots too.
It just doesn't add up that he (as a contractor/sole trader/company director as pointed out) wasn't aware of the details involving his pay and contracts, nor that his agent didn't check or question these things but blindly trusted RTE and people who he says he barely knows - especially when it involves invoicing and paperwork that doesn't appear to add up.

I am not a fan of Gerry but even that was a bit low by Tubrity. Maybe missing his bit of where he had a sad slot and needed to get it in.

Just a note here now they have gone over time and the Chair Niamh Smyth asked NK and RT if they are willing to stay another 10 minutes.
RT interjected that two/three minutes each for each of them of the committee is not enough and is willing to be questioned for a bit longer as he works/used to work in radio and knows how quickly 2minutes can go. He told the members of the committee to take their time if they wish.

It’s the Oireachteas Committee, it’s your first time watching them obviously which just means you haven’t a balls notion what you’re blathering about but you did manage to reveal that you’re a fairly thick individual who looks down their nose at people from outside Dublin in an embarrassing and prejudicial manner. Even more embarrassing is the “likes” in support of your idiotic and very thick prejudice.
