I think the TD's and senators have shamed themselves today. A lot of BS and bluster. Most of this is showboating to pacify a section of the electorate who think 400k to 500k is a massive salary, it's not. CEO's in private companies are earning multiples of this, and some of those private companies will have significant government contracts. The RTE board did screw up the governance, no doubt. Noel Kellys job is to get the best deal for his clients, that's what he did.
I think both NK and RT have performed well today in the face of some very stupid questions Really highlights how our parliament is made up of teachers and farmers.
