We all already knew that both Tubridy and Kelly are finished. Today has just cemented that fact.

Surely Renault should come out and say they no longer require these appearances/shows by Tubridy? They'd be toxic for Renault if they were go ahead surely. And Ryan can hand back the money as he has promised.

I don't subscribe to the idea that just because Tubs and Kelly are throwing RTE under the bus, that that will preclude RTE from negotiating a new deal for Tubs. Theres a new DG. He doesnt appear overly excitable. The old crew are getting resigned, early retired or moved to another role.
I think him, Kelly, Forbes and most of the board are up to their neck in it, pigs in the trough. A culture of excess and waste. But at the end of the day, the DG would have to terminate his contract and face the big payout and legal action that would ensue. As RTE have shown before, if its easier leave him there they will take the path of least resistance. Its going to boil down to listener figures and sponsors. If he has both, I think he may come back at some stage. I still hold out hope that his career in Irish media is over but this is Ireland..........

You know if you say it often enough you might persuade a few who maybe didn't see his performance today .
He was nauseating , pathetic and self serving and his agent has a lot of questions to answer as regards shady deals and accounts .

Tubs and Kelly have done themselves no favours, they have decided to point the finger at RTE and Im sure a few silly people will believe it but the majority won't and Tubs career is finished from what I can see
Plus from an RTE point of view you can expect mass non payment of license fee's, especially if Tubs and Kelly continue their interactions with RTE.
Not sure why we need to call everything "fake outrage". I think you will find tax payers in Ireland are far from "fake" with how they feel about this carry on by everyone involved.
