I think he’s caused himself reputational damage by not clarifying his published earnings.
I know they’re at pains to say the payment was outside his RTE role and from Renault but RTE negotiated with Renault, acted as an intermediary between Renault and Tubridy and were also using the late late as part of the promotion. To argue that it’s completely separate earnings is disingenuous I think.
But apart from that, no I don’t think he’s done much wrong. RTE at an executive level is a complete shambles and needs a complete overhaul imo.
