Some hum from this!
Wonder what's happening here?
Guessing a testing flight of some sort.
Air Corps' new Casa 295 up and about at Baldonnel
Some Dublin bound flights from continental Europe taking evasive action at the moment to avoid the storms near Liverpool.
That's not evasive action. Fairly standard ATC directing them around storms
Weather avoidance is usually as per the requests of pilots, who have the best picture of the weather and the avoidance manoeuvre required (traffic permitting, of course).
Anyone got info on what plane is doing the ezy837 flight this evening Gatwick to Belfast?
My mum is due on it.
Thanks.
G-EZWB. A320.
Last night's flight was cancelled 😱
So booked now on EI243 due to depart Gatwick at 5.15pm, so same question. Does anyone have any info on aircraft registration number due to fly that.
Many thanks.
EI-DEL going by flightradar
Took the Dublin flight as suited better than Belfast.
Ohh, if anyone here has any contacts that could possibly give Mrs McGowan on EI-243 outta Gatwick this evening a free drink or a pilots message from her son Pat it would be major impressive!!!😁
Go on, I know we have the people here that could get it sorted 👍.
Anyone got any idea what happened to ei238? Started down runway then aborted and now back at a gate.
It's ei-del the plane my mum is awaiting for in Gatwick.
Never went faster than 30 knots so really not an abort just a taxi off the runway and back to the gate.
Update, flight on the way to dub from Gatwick, few hours late but all good. Explained as a medical emergency in Dublin as delay cause.
Three USAF KC-135s (RAKE 74/75/76) orbiting west of Donegal, awaiting TITAN 25 an E-4 (747) to refuel it. Visible on FR24 and ADSB Exchange. And before anyone asks, they are in international airspace and avoided Irish sovereign airspace en route from Mildenhall.
a Boeing C-32A heading for Shannon now from Tallinn.
A lot of plans in hold pattern, is it because of the DUB to NCE FR1958 ?
Inbounds now to be on runway 10L - maybe getting set up for that.
And changing again, to runway 28s.
I'd say the antiwar dudes were about to launch a flotilla over those 2.5nm
Nordwind Nws555 Moscow-Varadero flight takes 12h30m+

Lockheed EP-3E Aries II

Causing a bit of a stir this one.... was supposedly in the Balkans this morning...
Was in Sardinia recently , and i was sure a military drone flew over head.
it wasnt that high up, had such a buzzy droney sound.... Mad to see it.
Appears with no origin. Does that mean its transponder was switched off
Edit: and disappears again at 10:57 adjacent Russian airspace
Well, that or it took off from a location where there was no ADSB feed to FR24. Most likely the transponder was turned off; very common for take-off and landing, refueling, as well as the operational phase of mil flights.
