Even so it is still way too much money .... I believe these salaries are inclusive of rehearsals and meetings .... other such duties ... but this would be mostly early on for the LLS ... as well as for the Toy Show ... the radio show is random talking about things ... something Tubridy can do in his sleep at this stage ...
I would tend to think that the salary would be for research/getting guests ... and even with all that it still is too high ... but when Tubridy just went for the RTE canteen plus the misery slot plus the airhead Luv Island rubbish nothing had to be researched at all .... at all got stale and lazy ....
I wonder if a loyalty bonus is common contractual stipulation in the NKM stable ? 🤔

If Tubridy's salary was for production costs ... that would be a different matter ... but if so wouldn't it be listed by RTE as production costs and paid to those who set up and produce the show?? .... the reality is it is paid directly to Tubridy and called salary ....
The canteen guests mean people working in RTE .... who have a show of their own ... think Baz, Bannon, et al ... and get promotion of it on the LLS .... Tubridy and RTE are obsessed with Luv Island ... and Maura Higgins in particular .... for reasons unknown ....

The photoshopping in that is dreadful
There's this weird remaining 'halo' around Bernard Dunne's head, and then Catriona Perry has this weird black 'aura' or smudge around her head. And there's a weird 'artifact' over Donnacha O'Callaghan's shoulder, too, where they badly removed Lottie Ryan, and some smudging is still left too.
I mean, we know that that photo was photoshopped together, just looking how the levels on each individual has been badly done, as some figures appear much darker than others. And nobody casts a shadow. So why no open the original file, where they were all composited together, and just delete each one?
Unless Noel didn't pay em, or they no longer want to work with him, because he treats people like crap. Pure speculation on my part.

Was going thru the old NK 'pages' thru the internet archive, and it was interesting to see the former 'talent' NK represented.
The two Seoige sisters, Marie Walsh (Rose of Tralee winner turned politician), Liz O'Donnell (the former politician), Alan Hughes, Lisa Cannon, Rasher (the artist, was popular a while back, kinda faded off quite a bit), and Patrick Bergin (actor who pops up in horrendous s***e) to name a select few.
If The Sun article is to be believed, I'm thinking Ryan thinks he can do a 'Baz', or 'Grainne', as in try to get a career going in the UK, away from RTE. Only thing is, Baz had his 'how to kills his mammy' show which got popular (I've never seen it) and this was after his drink driving arrest and driving ban which made him persona-non-grata in RTE for a while. So he did have 'bargaining' chip to make his way back to RTE.
On the other hand, Grainne Seoige tried EVERYTHING to make a break in the UK, even (allegedly) going on a diet to compete with her younger, slimmer presenters. But the shows she signed up for, got the chop due to terrible viewership. And there was her stint in Sky News Ireland which had worse viewership than TG4. She jumped ship before the whole station was closed down. So Noel did her no favours. Even trying to say 'Grainne is leaving Ireland to go into the diamond trade' was met with a resounding 'meh'. As was her 'Living with Lucy' episode.
Her DWTS stint flatlined as well.

He was took an enormous gift/payment in lieu without telling his bosses whilst being an on air presenter when RTE had clear policy that such things needed to be approved.
separately he was liable for BIK on that gift and people are rightfully questioning whether he was tax compliant. A RTE presenter not being tax compliant whilst he is paid by a tax on households is a bit too on the nose.
God that's a very brazen move by DF to seek €35 million interim funding when the **** is hitting the fan.

BIK definitely due, but we have absolutely no idea whether or not he declared and paid so we are in the realms of idle speculation here.

Rubbish. The stations in the UK which Tubs and his agent keep talking about could buy him out at the drop of a hat. A 100k loyalty bonus is nothing to them. If they wanted him.
Of course if you don't want him then why would you pay it out? Norton is on over 3m a year UKP
As I said already, if Tubs is so great then he should have no fear of been cut loose from RTE and going to make all these millions in the UK.
