Not a good look. I wonder did he go because this was going to come to light?

Even if the top layer of RTE management is ejected, does anyone really believe the next layer, or the mob below them are any better?
Who hired them, how have they learned their roles?
Monkey see, monkey do.
I wonder if they will ever tie the license fee collection to revenue as they did with the property tax.
Jesus, she a hungry young thing that Garrihy wan.
It's as bad as any of the other revelations.
Reform of the TV licence planned.
He lived for a long time on exaggerating his role in opening Croke Park to rugby and soccer too.
Noel Kelly is done for. No one will want to be associated with such a sleazy individual like him from now on.
Where are the post numbers on the mobile site?
Not sure how a lad at the bottom rung of the merit ladder could get any lower, but somehow he achieved it. I suppose he must've been hanging out with Mick and Claire or something.
Well that is the biggest load of boll*ks ever written in the Sun and that says something.
I think the population of Ireland should wish him well and let him off. See you later Tubs!! best of luck in England
I would imagine a, slight, bit of restructuring and then a “rebranding”.
Whatever the outcome it will still be the biggest, and best, talent agency in the country and anyone lucky enough to represented by them will be getting the best deal possible.
It's standard RTE....free promotion constantly for whatever their presenters have their sticky fingers in so they can fill their pockets more.
The few times I have listened to it she used to have no problem plugging the boat company in Doolin her family used to own.
All of these leaks or stories have common attributes. There is a transfer of the public's money to the RTE ruling class and/or their friends, family and business associates in a hidden or concealed fashion. No outsiders either. Its one big club and we ain't in it, we just fund it.
There's a long article on the BBC website about "Editorial Decisions". It refers exclusively (and it's a long, long piece) to being decisions about Content. Not boat hire, the choice of music at the party or which presenter should or shouldn't be taken off the radio or TV.
Even if they weren’t charged or paid a fee, it’s €000’s worth of free advertising.
ABSOLUTELY scandalous and outrageous.
And Dee Forbes used to talk about “advertising leakage”. The neck.
The next Alan Partridge.
Must know the game is up here if he's scouting already.
Might get a regional daytime radio slot somewhere maybe.
That phrase 'editorial decision' seems to be the best catch all, meaningless phrase to avoid further scrutiny since 'that would be an ecumenical matter'.
And they just happened to be the only company not to be charged as RTE saw it as promotion for the company.
Yet, just one month after DG started in 2FM having a party on a boat owned by her and her family wasn't promotion ...
The whole fcuking thing is rotten to the core.
Noel Kelly is now tarnished and association with him will also tarnish anyone. The people who are wise would jump ship and hope others forget Kelly used to be their agent. It will be interesting to see what happens NKM after this.
There's always radio :)
I wouldn't be so sure. He was there before and did ok. Besides looks aren't everything look at Henry Kelly!
Narcissist if there was ever one.
How on earth can a decision like whether or not a boat should be used (I nearly said "hired" by mistake) for a makey-uppey party, let alone use a firm who one of the presenters has if not shares then some familial skin in the game, be called an "editorial" decision. It's about as far from an editorial decision as possible. It really beggars belief and once again, it's drip, drip, drip.
Tubridy won’t succeed in London, he doesn’t have the good looks of Ronan Keating, Craig Doyle or Dermot O’Leary.
I hope whoever is spilling the beans in RTE land doesn't put the lid back on the tin anytime soon.
,..
Never mind. Beaten to it.
I'm not even sure what the point is at this stage, it is clear that they won't volunteer anything without being asked very directly, the board are far more interested in hiding their shame than they are about speaking the truth so these hearings are just an exercise in frustration. Good for a few gotcha moments but the real conclusion is that the board are incompetent and can't be trusted, and we now know that already.
To get the truth we need a forensic investigation of every single part of the organisation, every email, every minute, every report, every financial transaction made. Time would be better spent speaking to the soldiers rather than the generals, getting the real dirt from those who weren't getting all the kickbacks.
O'Leary can sit there and wait for the report as far as I am concerned, and sweat about whether or not it is accompanied by a summons.
She's ending up worse than RT
I wonder will O'Leary pull the plug now on future appearances or cooperation with investigations. She is 100% covering up and lying and she was very keen to say she only has 8 weeks to retirement. She tried to introduce the mental health card but in the absence of Forbes, we need to get the truth out of O'Leary before she runs away. She has a lot to hide.
