Ever since Wes Parmalee passed a lie detector test to say he was Jock in Dallas back in 1986 I've never trusted them ;)
This scandal has the potential to attract scrutiny towards other people/organisations. Therefore I'm sure a lot of other celebrity/business/even political figures are getting nervous.
So I would reckon lots of folk would like this story to end as quick as possible. Tubridy would be doing a big favour to these people (people who move in the same/similar circles) if he takes responsibility, the scandal could be deemed to be over then with the media letting the story fizzle out. Tubridy would be rewarded then by being rehabilitated ala Bertie style and given some other media/production related job.

Hopefully he doesn't I'd love to see him drag the others down but this scandal could upset a lot of people with more clout so the little shít may well be versed as to what to say and who not to mention come Tuesday. The fact Kelly is coming with him could well be an intimidatory tactic to keep him from squalling like a pig to the committee.

I wonder will O'Leary pull the plug now on future appearances or cooperation with investigations. She is 100% covering up and lying and she was very keen to say she only has 8 weeks to retirement. She tried to introduce the mental health card but in the absence of Forbes, we need to get the truth out of O'Leary before she runs away. She has a lot to hide.

I'm not even sure what the point is at this stage, it is clear that they won't volunteer anything without being asked very directly, the board are far more interested in hiding their shame than they are about speaking the truth so these hearings are just an exercise in frustration. Good for a few gotcha moments but the real conclusion is that the board are incompetent and can't be trusted, and we now know that already.
To get the truth we need a forensic investigation of every single part of the organisation, every email, every minute, every report, every financial transaction made. Time would be better spent speaking to the soldiers rather than the generals, getting the real dirt from those who weren't getting all the kickbacks.
O'Leary can sit there and wait for the report as far as I am concerned, and sweat about whether or not it is accompanied by a summons.
