what i think needs to happen with rte is after all the meetings are done and the forensic account has gone through every thing who ever is in charge of rte is to take every one into a big room and say "ok lads here it is,presenters radio/tv your on 100,000 per year paye tax applied,executives and board members/directors 100,000 paye tax applied,you dont like it...?theres the door..and anyone that has fcuked around...theres the door.

If RT done nothing wrong why is he packing a solicitor on his appearance at the committees.
The simple solution is to spilt the stations. Make RTE 1 and radio 1, TG4 public service a nd the news station public service only. No commercial ads
Then make RTE2 and 2FM GAA Go commercial.
If they have done no wrong why would they need lawyers as backup. Nobody from RTE had a lawyer with them. The optics from this is going to be wrong for them.
