Not a good look. I wonder did he go because this was going to come to light?

I honestly didn't even know TSTM was a thing and I live in D4 and would be at events in the city centre a lot. Didn't see or notice a single advertisement for it.
I've seen adverts for The Lion King, Hamilton etc on buses and billboards. Never seen TSTM.
I don't watch RTE much though. Maybe it was just heavily advertised there.
How would the public exercise their current legal right to boycott RTE in that scenario?
It’s NOT Lottie Ryan or any one of the NKM crew. Some of them have cars as part of brand ambassadorial deals and that’s completely separate from what’s being discussed here.
This is a STAFF member with a car “on loan” from a car manufacturer or dealership - something completely different from a brand ambassadorial arrangement.
Sorry I meant to add - from what I gather this person who is the staff member with the “loaned” car MAY also be in receipt of a car allowance. This will be a revenue issue for BIK if this is the case.
I don't think it is, her deal with TLM seems to have just begun in 2021.
That's probably a digitally signed contract. Companies like DocuSign provide this kind of service to businesses. People signing a contract or document can use an uploaded image of their signature or just a software generated signature. There are no pens involved. The dates are the interesting aspects because there will be a trail.

This tweet 😂
This board or anyone on it shouldn't be allowed to bring in their own man. This Bakhurst guy can't be brought in - he's one of them. A friend.
The board should be drawn on everything - all information got - then dismissed without pension.
Michael Carrigy on Tonight Show now saying Tubridy not promoting Toy Show The Musical should be investigated and this may have contributed to it failing. Talk about being deluded, the project was fooked from the start with clowns in RTE thinking the 'winning formula' of the TV show would work in a jaysus big scale musical. What would Ryan have done, waffle after each ad break on his radio show already featuring the TSTM ad to put it even more down people's throats?
Never in the history of Irish media has an event being promoted as much, they still couldn't even break even. I calculated that if each ticket that was sold went for an additional €200 they would have just broke even.
It’s not Tubridy. Tubridy is not staff.
It's interesting how highly paid supposedly important and intelligent people, pull out the mental health card when they're under pressure.
Wouldn't surprise me if commercial paid for it through a barter account - then paid U2 the same amount at an interest of 35 percent of course - then delivered it to U2 to give it to RT.
The soon departed DIrector General?
For anyone wanting to see what happened today this YouTube channel seems to put up Oireachtas videos and has put up some parts of the committee debate today. It’s split between individuals TD’s and Senators.
Lotti I’d say
Sent from my iPhone
I can just hear his voice coming back on the radio in September
"Its been a turbulent summer for reasons that you or truth be told, I could never fully understand. Radios were switched off, children cried over the lost Toyman, a nation struggled to understand the complexities of creative media accounting. But here we are and we are all friends again. That's just life and the show will go on" 🤮
It’s a staffer and from a very narrow pool that Lynch couldn’t name as it would likely identify them. You’d have to assume it’s someone on the Exec. I know who I suspect it is.
The car person is rumoured to be Lottie Ryan.
That's actually great writing of the Louth accent😁
I suspect it’s him too…..not to worry he has that scooter he got from bono….
The gleeful way Lynch said 'Not yet.' when asked if Tubridy would be back on radio next week or soon, nearly made me get sick.
Not only will I never pay my license again, if that cretin gets back on, I'm getting a dodgy box.
Think they said it's a staffer, which is slightly more interesting
...and that Louth fella loose to get a slap around the head,
Listen heor you hai, not just Louth, but da Town. An I'll tell you hai, I'll have aur-fella sort you out so I will
Unbelievable stuff der, I mean, what's goin on hai? Unbelievable stuff - If I did that in da Town, well it wouldn't end well, unbelievable stuff hai , eh?
So that's Nuala Carey sorted. You just forgot to mention the hair, make-up and dress allowance as well......
They don’t do explanations…
They definitely said he was being paid earlier in the meeting!
Sure, it's likely that only Dee knows and that poor craytur is sick.
I'm pretty sure at the committee today they said he was out of contract and wasn't being paid....but who knows with RTE!
They were asked that and it's on the very long list of things they're checking and getting back to them about.
I missed sections of today's fun. What was the explanation for the car being returned only yesterday?
Tubridys come out of this looking awful tbh.
A greedy, self serving, egotistical, pontificating, disengenous twat.
The gall of him during the Covid times and some of the stuff he came out with. It beggers belief knowing what we know now.
And I have always said to my friends group and family who watch the late late he was an absolutely diabolical interviewer who loved the misery. They all liked Tubridy for reasons I could never fully understand.
I found him a completely talentless vulture who preyed on people's misery. He seemed to thrive in conversations about death and ill health. Then for the talented entertainers that came on the late late he had no real interest in their story and constantly tried to steer them towards misery.
A horrible little man.
I strongly suspect this is just a microcosm of what's going on across all publicly funded bodies. I shudder to think what a forensic examination of HSE accounts would look like, not to mention the 6 billion NGO racket. Grant Thornton might find itself short of business, going forward.
