Now going over the venue choice for the musical...which was a bonkers choice.

I don't think I have ever heard of a theatre production being put on there?!? (Convention centre)

He actually said one of the reasons it failed was that “there wasn’t enough shows”!

They couldn’t sell the tickets for the existing shows, but Coveney said they needed more!

TSTM - An alternative to the big Broadway shows.

    A SHITE alternative.

The toy show was possibly a jobs for the boys number, maybe designed to fail. It needs investigating. Where and to whom did the €2.2 million go? Was it to Rory's pals in the biz?

34 children and 16 adults in the cast....bloody heck...that is huge cast wise!

What’s wrong with that? Forklift driving is good honest work.

I'd love if a price was put on what the ads for The Musical would have cost if money had to be charged for them, had to be in the millions.

Good for you. I’m sure you loved Toy Show The Musical as well.

Deputy Smyth is from a regional theatre background.

    There's a surprise!

Coveney claimed Dublin is a big city.

Dublin is not a big city - it's a very small Panto market in the scheme of things.

Coveney asked: was the toy show musical a success?"

He says: "Oh yes it was"

The chair says" Oh no it wasn't!!!"

Are you mad. His erroneous methods of renumeration and subsequent denials and failure to face the public instead choosing to issue an apology to the media is partly the reason behind the whole fiasco.

    I heard him before blaming

    COVID,

    the Christmas market,

its a New show that will take time to grow 😲😒,

There's no accountability so, no one is held to account,

When it's not your money, they don't care

They never had any understudies despite the size of the cast?! So cancelled a weekend when they had sold 6k tickets.

New he would bring up owning the sets and the songbook zzz

They are still using that annoying word word "talent".

Coveney just said from our "talent and our staff"

Basically an elite and peasants culture at RTE.

Coveney talks about TSTM in terms of IP and assets, like it's a business to be broken up and sold.

Andrew Lloyd Webber must have rooms full of IP and assets that'll never see the light of day. And he's successful.

Dancing With The Stars is not made by RTE, it's ShinAwil who make it for RTE.
