Wonder what the hiring process for him was. Was he chosen for a reason such as; will sign off the accounts and won't ask too many questions? Was the role publically advertised or was he headhunted?
He should never have been accepting verbal confirmations at that level.
I wouldn't have been too blown away by his LinkedIn either for such a gig. Dunnes Stores leadership would also be in the same circuit as RTE leadership.

Maybe some of those in the top 100 are staffers. The earnings of the self employed 'talent' can be found in other ways but maybe staff salaries are private data.
It's literally his job to know.
Nonetheless, he should not have said to the PAC that there were no more barter accounts if there was a possibility of more of these accounts. So why did he tell them - did he not check properly or are the department's lying to him - either way, it shows that he is not in control of finances there.
